Today’s Reflection #211 I’m Just Sayin #211 “Aloha”-the majesty of being able to have one word mean more that one thing. Voiced

My quiet space to come home to myself!

The word “Aloha” can mean hello and goodbye, but it goes even deeper to mean love, affection, peace, compassion, and a mutual understanding of respect.  “Aloha” represents living in harmony with the people and the land around us, which is very important in the Hawaiian indigenous culture.  As with most indigenous cultures, the Spirit world is of great importance, so it is very natural for the “Aloha Spirit” to be woven into the fabric of the culture and language.  The “Aloha Spirit” is seen as the vessel that binds the mind and heart within us. We are called to be our authentic self and to support others to do the same.  We carry that “Aloha Spirit” as a vital force to be present in our life.  The ancestors expect us to be in the “Aloha Spirit” in our relationship with other people and requires us to treat each other with deep care and respect.

It is important to understand that the literal meaning of “Aloha” is the “presence of breath” or as some say, “the breath of life”. This fits in with our previous discussions in that “Aloha” teaches us that we must love ourselves first and then we must spread that love unconditionally to others.  The sending and receiving of this “Aloha Spirit Energy” is what sustains the quality of the soul experience.  We need “Aloha” in our life!  We need the positive energy that is contagious once experienced and received by your heart and allows our soul to be blessed.  Be open to the vibration of the “Aloha Spirit”!  Be receptive and be a giver of this amazing gift of love, affection, peace, compassion, and mutual respect.

To put this in context, I am just an island girl by lineage and my family and I have been drawn to the Hawaiian islands for over forty years.  I can’t get to Jamaica as easily to see my family, and I have to retreat to an inland to keep my soul healthy and whole, so Hawaii has been that place that makes me come home to myself.

Aloha my friends! And so, it is! Ashe!

So, breathe deeply! Close your eyes and visualize something that brings you back into homeostasis with your soul expression.  May today bring you a sense of peace, joy, and moments of feeling loved and validated for who you are and what you are gifting humanity.

Ashé! Have a Blessed Day!

**Note: These recordings are based on my blog writings, and all of this comes through Spirit.  The recordings are a reflection of the writings and are not edited because I do not want to alter what is coming to me through “Great Spirit”.  I am not seeking perfection, only serving as a vessel to bring love, peace, and joy, to our humanity.

Thank You, Jim Brickman for your beautiful music that vibrates through this recording. This is a selection from his album – “Music to Quiet Your Mind and Sooth Your World”.

Thank You, Nicóle Añgel Evans for sharing your beautiful photography with us to enhance the essence of what is being channeled.
