United nations make a change
Every link is freedoms name
Keep your hand on that plow, hold on
Hold on, hold on, keep your hand on that plow, hold on.
Freedom’s name is mighty sweet
Black and white are gonna meet
Keep your hand on that plow, hold on
Hold on, hold on, keep your hand on that plow, hold on
Many good men have fought and died
So we could be here side by side
Keep your hand on that plow, hold on
Hold on, hold on, keep your hand on that plow, hold on-
Old Gospel Song by Cecil Sharp and recorded by Hall Johnson.
They did it! We have no choice but to follow their lead. They are calling your name! They are calling my name. We must let it be known that we are coming to secure our land. We are peace! We are love, and no matter the situation, we will always choose to be true to the legacy of our elders and ancestors for the sacrifices they made as agents of change. We cannot stand by idlily, while our democracy falls into dust and ashes after all that was invested to secure and set our humanity free. We have too much to lose, and it will take decades to regain what was accomplished, much less evolving into a future that will hold promise for our children. We must hold on to our dreams and visions for the life that was paid for by our ancestors. We must manifest the realities that our elders worked for on our behalf.
We will be held accountable if we are apathic and unengaged in this battle for the “souls of humanity”. Each one of us have something to contribute that ascribes to be non-violent and peaceful, but at the same time will show and manifest what we have the power to evoke as both individuals and as a collective humanity. The essence of our souls is powerful beyond what is understood in the world of the flesh. Now is the time to activate the power and invisibility of your “Divined Identity and Divined Purpose”.
WE are committed to -Standing Up! Speaking Up! Showing Up! For Democracy!
