On this beautiful Sunday Morning, as I rise from my slumber, I am full of gratitude and excitement that I have another day in which to experience the beauty and mystery of life. I am ready to embark on this day that “Great Spirit” has so graciously gifted me. I am ready to find out more about myself and the world that is available to me. I am cognizant of the fact that what and who is in my life, enhances the quality and joy that I live in and through.
All my senses are hyper-acute to everything around me. I hear the laughter, I see the facial expressions of joy, I smell the scent of the coffee percolating in the kitchen, I feel the warmth of the little bodies that greet me with their morning hugs and kisses. “Oh, Happy Day”! Why not choose the happy moments in our lives rather than getting absorbed by things that cause us pause, discomfort, or anxiety? It is about choosing ourselves over the trivial things in life that are just more distractions to prevent us from living the fullness of our life. Don’t fall into the trap!
Whenever the world crowds in,
And tries to stifle my connection with
“I Am”,
I close my eyes and turn within to bring myself back to my sacred space
With Him!
I cannot let the conditions and lies of this world push me into that which I know is only an illusion to distract me and separate me from Him, because as I remember that in truth is that nothing, no one, no situation, no perception can separate me from the God spirit that dwells within me, that has anointed my physicality, and guides my destiny, will ever allow me to fall prey to illness of mind, body, and spirit!
I Am! I Am! I Am!
I Am-Strong of Mind!
I Am- Wise of Soul!
I Am- Whole and Healthy of Physical Body!
I Am- Genius of Intelligence that was God’s gift to me and is demonstrated as a reflection of God’s intellect, creativity, beauty, empathy, compassion, and discernment to know the difference between truth and trickery.
My Mommie always said,
