Sunday Morning Prayers-#11 Reverence-The Missing Link Towards Healing Humanity. Reverence- A feeling of profound respect for someone or something.

“Great Spirit”,

As we go about our daily lives and the routines that captivate our attention and concerns, instill in us the ability to step aside and take note of what we need to have reverence for. Give us the time and space to acknowledge those in our life that we hold a deep and abiding respect and appreciation for.  Let us never forget how intricately all that surrounds us is supporting not only our existence but the quality and joy that we experience on our life’s journey.  We know that if we show, this sense of reference towards each other and for the blessings of nature’s resources, our world and our humanity will not only survive, but thrive.  It is important in the scheme of things to be in a space of reverence so that we are recapturing the beauty of our divine soul expressions. 

We must have reverence for life-all life. 

We must think before we act, and we must think before we speak.  Our words and our deeds color the texture of our relationships to each other and to the world that we live in.  Hear our prayer “Great Spirit” and shower us with your essence so that we have a remembering of who we are and what we must be about.
