Sunday Morning Prayers #46 Our Soul’s Journey.

The Destination of Our Souls is Scripted in Our “Divine Contract” that is Manifested On Our Divine Journey.

Dear “Great Spirit”,

Today’s prayer is dedicated to all of us that have experienced the “transition” of a “loved one”. I want to share this prayer on behalf of all my family and friends that have had and are currently dealing with the healing process, which is an individual and personal process.  I want to share what I know from my beliefs and experiences in life to be true to this process of healing.  First, we must realize that our life in the flesh is an alignment of our earthly being and our spiritual being.  We come on our divine journey with a spiritual “Life Contract”.

This “Divine Life’s Contract” is designed for us in conjunction with “Great Spirit”.  Each contract is unique to what our “soul is yearning for and what our soul needs in order to grow and evolve”.  There are carefully outlined lessons to work through that will enhance the fabric and texture of our “soul’s illumination and spiritual evolution.  The other element of the “Divine Life’s Contract”, is our “Divine Identity”, which is who we are and how we operate in this world.  It is the element that aligns our life’s lessons with the major element in our reason to be here in the flesh- “Our Divine Purpose”.   This “Divine Life’s Contract” has an expiration date, that only “Great Spirit” knows.  This expiration date is set for this earthly plane experience but there is no expiration date for the soul.  The conciliation gift we have for the “transition of our loved ones” is the knowing, faith, and belief, that our soul’s journey never ends but are eternally ever present in the lives of those that have loved us here on earth and in heaven.  It is absolutely amazing what the “soul energy” can accomplish in our lives when we are open and receptive of the love and care of their “spirit”.

I have had first-hand experience of the loving ancestral souls supporting me from afar.  Once I realized that we are more than our physicality, and that the major essence of our being is our soul’s expression, I found the peace I needed to accept their transition and relate to them more fully and boundlessly.  There is healing in the peace that surpasses all understanding!  There is joy in the morning!  There will always be an eternal bond with our loved ones from the earthly plane to the ethers of the “spirit plane” some call heaven.

So, my prayer today “Great Spirit” is that you will heal our hearts and guide us in our process of understanding that each of us have lessons to learn to expand our soul’s expression, that we have a “divine identity, and that our soul has a purpose that is unique to who we are to “You”- “Great Spirit”.  Let not our hearts be heavy laden with unending sorrow, but find joy, peace, and unconditional, unlimited love from the souls of our angels that have taken flight.

Ashe!  Ashe! Ashe! Amen!

Today I hold in prayer: Those souls that have transitioned within the last 1-2 weeks

The family of Patricia M. Caputo’s family especially her loving daughter Anne Caputo-Pearl

The family of Richard-Ricky Wyatt- whose loving and gentle family has been special to our family.

The family of Marian Lois Shields Robinson- The mother of Michelle Obama

The family of our neighbor Elan and Kim for the transition of Elan’s mother

I’m Just Sayin- Notes from Beth #72 You Can Make Alterations, but You Can’t Re-Design Our Original Divine Identity.

We nurture, we guide, we protect,
but we cannot re-design ourselves or anyone else.

This thought has been rolling around in my head for some time as I observe not only children but the adults that I observe as we engage in each other’s lives.  It is not in our best interest to try to re-design what in its original creation, is perfection.  We are created in and by the “mindset” of “Great Spirit”, who is the master of intelligence, artistry, and spiritual wisdom.  We were given all the attributes we need to navigate on our “Divine Life’s Journey”, and we were designed to know that we “are enough”!  We were not designed to have to spend our lifetime trying to make ourselves someone that we are not. Refection and introspection are important undertakings for us to do in our human condition, in order for us to evolve into the fullness of who we are.  I believe to the core of my being that we come here knowing who we are and that our “work” in our physical being is to tap into our “Spiritual” being to work through the challenges of “this world”.

We are not required to try to change ourselves to meet the expectations or made-up standards of society.  We are who we need to be as part of the humongous fabric of humanity. The “call” is not to change who we are, the “call” is to grow more beautifully into who we are. Look inside to find your truth, not outside at the physical attributes that house your soul.  Your true “self” resides in your “Spirit” and is waiting and wanting, for us to be in alignment with what “Great Spirit” has endowed us to be.   Trust me when I say that trying to be someone that we are not, and putting our energy into re-writing the script of our“Divine Identity and our “Divine Life’s Journey” does not work in the long run.  What a great relief it should be for us to know that we can chose to be our “authentic divine amazing selves” and that we don’t have to try to be who we are not.  It is a waste of our time and energy to delve into things that distract us from going through life as “Great Spirit” designed us to be.

Be happy for who you are and who you have the potential of becoming.  It’s all there!  Remember how you felt about yourself as a very young child? The essence of our “divine identity” can be called upon if we just reach back and let that knowledge resurge within the “us” of today and tomorrow.

Sunday Morning Prayers #44 Our Children Do not Belong to Just Us!  Our Children are the Divine Design of Great Spirit and We Have Been Given Them as a Gift!

Children are the most miraculous and precious gift given to humanity.

Great Spirit,

This prayer is coming directly from my soul.  I know you know how important children are to me the very thought of how some of the children in our world are desperately trying to endure hunger, war, loss of family, loss of home, and lack of medical attention, griefs my soul.  Thinking about the children in our country, although they are not on the same kind of battle ground, they are still fighting to survive the chaos and confusion of our dysfunctional society. They need so much than what we are offering our children on a global level.  Children deserve so much more from us.  Children should not be caught up in the experience of adults battling their egos for power, greed, and superiority!  We have not done what we know you expect of us! We know that we are not holding ourselves accountable and that we have not prioritized our children and have not acknowledged that “children are a divine gift”!

Lay on our hearts “Great Spirit” the consciousness to go forth into the world and be the change agents that our children need us to be.  Empower us! Ignite us!  Guide us!  Protect us!  Open the flood gates to impact the world and heal the pain that children are engulfed in.  Lighten their burdens!  Lighten their hearts!  Fill their souls with faith and hope.  Give them the vision that they will be delivered from a chaotic upside-down world and that they will be delivered into the world that you created for them “in the beginning”.  Let them feel your love!  Let them see their future in the divine design that will be manifested.  Stay close to them “Great Spirit” because they need to relate to you “spirit” to “Spirit”!  Lead us “Great Spirit” on this pilgrimage to save our children!

Sunday Morning Prayers #43. A Mother’s Prayer

We hold our children in our arms and in our hearts always.

Dearest Great Spirit,

We are so blessed to have mothers and the purpose and role they play in the design of our humanity! Please endow them with the loving nature, strength, patience, wisdom, grace, discernment, selflessness, nurturing nature, advocacy skill, and communication skills they will need to mother their children! Protect our mother’s and give them the care they need to enrich and sustain their lives!  Let them know you are always within them, beside them, and have gone before them to prepare them for the challenges they will undoubtfully face as a “mother”!

“Great Spirit”, protect them as they give so much of their life and spiritual energy to their children! Motherhood is a life time commitment and without your support, there is no way we as mothers can navigate this world and keep our children safe and healthy! It’s like mother’s have to have a field force of protection that we cover our children with so when they are not with us physically, we are with them spiritually! This connection with our children is divined! When we step into the position of “Mother”, something clicks within us that is an innate element of our design.  The potential is within us, but that too must be nurtured and protected.
So “Great Spirit”, hear our prayer and incline thy hear to us and grant us thy love, peace, and joy today on Mother’s Day!

I’m Just Sayin- Notes from Beth #69 Whose Footsteps are Worthy of You Following on Your Divine Life’s Journey?

There are but a few people that have walked the surface of this earth that I would want to follow and strive to acquire their qualities in my character. I kind of operate more from a spiritual dimension, than an earthly dimension.  It is what supports me in grounding myself in this world of multitude of realities.  It helps me decipher truth from lies, and good from evil.  It keeps me on track so that I don’t lose sight of my “divine identity” or my “divine purpose”.

I made a personal choice at the age of 13 to dedicate my life to the teachings of Christ.  It was a choice I made not from just my religious exposure, but there was a deep spiritual connection to Him, a knowingness of who He was in a spiritual realm that resided in my soul expression from the time I became cognitive that I was separated from the origin of my spiritual birth.  My connection allowed me to grasp the significance of what He was imparting to humanity, and what His expectations were for us in terms of keeping sacred the elements that we were born with and had come to this plane to polish and refine.

These simple elements in His character are what I strive to demonstrate in my own life, and they are the principles by which I raised my child, engage with my family, friends, or strangers I encounter on my path.  I demonstrated these elements in my “purpose” career when I taught teachers to teach children and when I work in advocacy for children and parents.  The principles are simple and straight forward.  I did a lot of reflection during this season of Lent, the observance of Ramadan, and the forth coming of Passover as I watch them follow and converge with one another across the planet.   I see how humanity is in conflict with itself, because it has lost its identity as being “one” and “interconnected”, we are at a standoff and at war with each other.

I recognize that we are engaged “spiritual warfare”!  I stand firm on my belief that it is possible for us to take hold of the principles of Christ life and walk upon the earth in His footsteps.  It is liberating!  It is grounding!  It is sharable!  It is not defined by the constricts of societal norms.  It is timeless!  It is purposeful!  It is engulfed in love and respect.

There are so many qualities of Christ that resonate with me but here are a few that touch my heart:

  1. Compassionate
  2. In service to humanity-Selflessness
  3. Loving Unconditionally
  4. Forgiving
  5. Gentleness
  6. Patience
  7. Humble
  8. Agent of Peace
  9. Honest and Trustworthy
  10. Dependable
  11. Grateful
  12. Generous
  13. Thoughtfulness
  14. Reverence
  15. Discernment- Wisdom

Let’s take a “Walk”!

Sunday Morning Prayers-#32                    We have Got to Believe that “God is Still in Charge” and Our Faith and Trust in You Shall See Us Through!

We have to put our faith into action,
so that we provide the world our children need.

“Great Spirit”,

It is by our faith and trust in thee “Great Spirit”, that we shall not only overcome the tides and twisted and turns of this life’s experiences, but by living a life in faith and in trust in thee, we will be able to live our lives in “the present so that we are living in the Presence”!  We are in a position to make a conscious decision to surrender our expectations, anxieties, frustrations, and  apprehensions, to our “Faith” based life practice.  It is a “practice” because in our human design, we are challenged with trying to be in control of all areas of our life and the situations that impact our life.

It is difficult to surrender control and trust in anyone but ourselves “Great Spirit”, but that is where we make our biggest mistake!  There is no way we can control when, how, and why, things come into our lives that challenge the strength and tenacity of our faith and trust in thee.  We have to allow you to intercede and trust that with You, “all things are possible”.  Faith and trust in your love and devotion to us, gives us the fortitude to lean in and on our relationship with you. Walk with us “Great Spirit”!  Talk to us “Great Spirit”! Make yourself known to our “Spirit” so that we feel the power of your love in us, and for us!  The faith and trust we have in “Great Spirit” is our shield of amour and protection! Ashe! Ashe! Amen!

Sunday Morning Prayers-#31 The Mind and Heart of Discernment that Protects Our Soul’s Expression!

Always tune into the still quiet voice that resides in your soul!
It will never fail you if you stay in tune with your gift of discernment.

“Great Spirit”,

Bless us on our divine life’s journey as we try to navigate this world and our ever-evolving life style that usually requires us to surrender all to thee!  We are compelled to rely on our gift of discernment.  We have to be cognizant of our actions and the actions and engagements we have with others.  We need to be sensitive and aware of what is and is not good for our best interest so that we make the right decisions, engage with people that enhance and enrich our life experiences in contrast to people that would have us do things that are not in alignment with our divine identity and divine purpose.  We have a responsibility to look at situations, people and environments, and assess what is appropriate for our well-being.  There are situations and people that can alter the divine plan or path of our life.

We need to be discerning and love and respect ourselves enough that we make good choices.  The operative words and actions to remember are discernment and choices.  We are gifted discernment, and we mature into our ability to make choices for ourselves.  We have a choice in our choices.  “Great Spirit”, support us in tapping into our ability to use our discernment.  Support us in listening to your still quiet voice that speaks to our soul.  Call us into the quietness of your presence so that we have the time and space to listen and obey. Incline thine ear to us and grant us thy peace!  Ashe! Ashe! Ashe!

Sunday Morning Prayers-#29 Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory of the Beauty of “Great Spirits” Creations!

Thank you, “Great Spirit”, for the beauty of this earth and all it provides for the substance and stainability of humanity!
This is the majesty of the God I serve!

“Great Spirit”,

From the heavens above you adorn the sky with the beauty of your infinite artistry.  We are so blessed to have not only the physical vision to see what you created on our behalf, but instilling in us the spiritual gratitude that you endowed us with to appreciate this gift.  I realize in our human condition that we more than often are so over stimulated and overwhelmed, that we forget to take stock of what is “right before our eyes! We are truthfully blessed when we take the time to just look up toward the sky, walk beside a running creek, take a walk on the sands of the beach, or stand on top of a hilltop and gaze at the masterpiece of nature that lays its canvas all around you.

“Great Spirit”, our prayer today is to rekindle within us, the desire, the time and the space to listen to that still small voice within us that tells us to take the time to be present in our lives so that we can benefit from all that you have provided for us! Ashe!  Ashe! Ashe! Amen!

P.S. This picture was taken from my balcony! How blessed could I be to have had this moment in God’s presence?

Sunday Morning Prayers-#28 Love Begets Love-Why then do we ignore the power it holds to sustain our humanity?

Children have the key to the unlimited unconditional art of expressing “Love”.  It is an amazing gift to behold.

“Great Spirit”,

Open our hearts and our minds so that we might be remember how to love with the same grace, compassion, and non-judgment as children do.  Help us to come to an understanding that all there really is that can restore our humanity, is “LOVE”.  Children bathe themselves in love and are not afraid to shower the people they have an affection for and trust in, with love.  They give it freely and each child has their own unique way of showing how they love someone.  The constant in their expression of loving someone is that they are fearless in actually saying”, “I love you”!  I love it “Great Spirit” how even the youngest of children are able to express love and affection.  I love it when I hear my youngest little niece- Aouluna say, ”I love you”!

“Great Spirit”, help us as adults to find a way to reach back to our authentic selves and love one another and support our children in this world to hold on to their gift of “loving” and receiving “love”!  Let us remember that “love begets love” and that it can be contagious! The truth is –“that all there really is-is LOVE”.

Ashe!  Ashe! Ashe! Amen!

Not Just A Sunday Morning Prayer, but A Prayer for the Principles, Practices and Purpose of the Life of Jesus Christ!

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
The time is coming again, when we as a humanity have the opportunity to reset the essence of our lives to encompass those principles, practices, and our own individual divine purpose , that will alter the trajectory of this world from what it is to what “Great Spirit” intended it to be.

“Great Spirit”,

I am so excited.  I know you probably are the only one that understands how absolutely wonderful this season of life is.  I know you have made the ultimate sacrifice for us-your children- and we can’t thank you enough.  The concept that after thousands of years, the relevance of His life is still important to so many people, says volumes of how amazing You are in our lives and in this world. I think why I get so excited is because I see this as an opportunity to reconnect with and highlight the qualities of His character and the values and principles that He sought to share with us that would not only guide, enrich, and sustain our lives, but would ultimately reunite the sanctity of our humanity.

He taught Grace.

He taught Unconditional Love.

He taught Compassion

He taught Justice

He taught Peace.

He taught Forgiveness.

He taught caring for each other as we would want others to care for us.

If we but give ourselves permission to embrace these principles, practices, and values, we can as a collective and as an individual, change the vibration from what it is to where it should be.  The more we make an effort to bring these elements into fruition, the higher the planetary vibration, and consequently we will shift the consciousness of humanity and “the world will be a better place for you and me”!  That’s all “Great Spirit” wants for us and from us. This is the “rebirth”! This is the significance of this night!

I pray each of you have blessed holidays and that each of us pray for these principles to be manifested all over the world.  We can make a difference!

Thank You “Great Spirit” for the gift of this life!

Ashe! Ashe! Ashe! Amen!
