I’m Just Sayin #162- Attentive- Voiced!

In the stream of life many people, circumstances, and situations will flow through the waters of our experiences on this magnificent journey.  Go with the flow but remain vigilant in your intention to be attentive.

To be attentive is to have an intention to create a life experience that is cared for and appreciated for what we have the capacity to bring to it or someone or a situation.  When we direct our energy, time, and essence to the experiences in our life’s journey that present themselves, it is an opportunity for us to discover more about our own personal and unique spiritual essence. Being attentive to a situation, person, or circumstance in life, is actually life’s way of drawing us into the “present” and “power” of my own spirit.

We can become clear and focused when we are attending to someone or a situation and as a result we reap a multitude of benefits from the experience.  In the lifestyles we live today, we can become so absorbed in the manic rush and demands of what we feel we need to attend to that we often miss that which is really important for us to be attentive to or present for.  It’s the real stuff in life that causes us to pause, evaluate, and respond to.

I find I have to quiet my mind and open my heart to be present in my life for those things that call to me so that I can be attentive and responsive to that which we feel is worthy of my time and energy.  I have to be intentional about using my gift of discernment to evaluate what is purposeful and of value so that I do not invest in things and people that are not part of my life’s script.  I am on my own personal contract with God so no one writes the script of my life but me and God!

Intentionally being attentive is another key to attaining and living “your best life”. Watch young children when they give something their full attention! The expression on their face and their body language speaks volumes of what is transpiring for them and within them when they engage this way. Take note!!! It’s a radical adventure!!

So, breathe deeply! Close your eyes and visualize something that brings you back into homeostasis with your soul expression.  May today bring you a sense of peace, joy, and moments of feeling loved and validated for who you are and what you are gifting humanity.

Ashé! Have a Blessed Day!

Thank You, Jim Brickman for your beautiful music that vibrates through this recording. This is a selection from his album – “Music to Quiet Your Mind and Sooth Your World”.
