I’m Just Sayin-Notes from Beth #-122. Wading Through the Turbulent Waters of A Country That Is Drowning in Racism. Voiced
Every sunset that kisses this land is a blessing
that must be revered and sustained.

Now looking at the thought about tomorrow being “The Fourth of July”, I am so conflicted about celebrating any kind of acknowledgement that is connected to honoring a system of government that is in a malignant stage of Cancer. The Cancers of “Racism” and “Crimes Against Humanity”. As I child raised in the public school system, I was taught the history of an America that mouthed principles that were in no way aligned to the practices of an “inclusivity and justice” as a system striving to evolve into a “Democracy”!
Over and over again we go through unconceivable events where the people of this country and the government that chooses to serve them, engage in acts of terrorism against any ethnicity or group with a particular ideology that they deem offensive and threatening to their way of life that puts them in a position of power and supremacy. I know too much! I have seen too much! I have experienced too much emotional pain and disgust to participate in the torrid waters that are sending avalanches of tsunamis of cruelty and disregard for the sanctity and sacredness of our collective humanity.
I have to make some hard decisions on how I am going to respond to the conditions of my country and my community and at the same time keep my family safe and healthy physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I know as a specie it is important in all cultural expressions that we embody, to celebrate “Life”! I have to find a way to, with the input and feelings of my family members, make new traditions while at the same time find ways to compromise on the things that might be important to individual members, to hold on to.
I have to find ways, with the help of my family to dissect what are things we want to hold on to that have traditionally reflected the values and principles of our elders and ancestors. We have to allow “Truth” and “Reflective Wisdom”, be the guiding light that helps us make choices that meet the needs of each of us in the family. So this 4th of July, we will not be celebrating the declaration of freedom from the King of England.
We will be declaring our own personal freedom from those individuals and entities that are trying to obstruct and deny the freedom and security of our fellow human beings that have come to this country for refuge from the tyranny of lack and limitation as well as in some situations, are trying to outrun the treat of “DEATH”.
So tomorrow, I will gather together with family and sit in the love, joy, peace, and security of our family legacy that stands firmly on compassion, justice, and world peace. WE shall not be moved!
We shall not, we shall not be moved
WE shall not, we shall not be moved
Like a tree that’s planted by the water
We shall not be moved.
WE are fighting for our freedom, we shall not be moved-
WE are fighting for our children, we shall not be moved-
And once again-
WE are fighting for the end to racism, we shall not be moved-
WE are fighting for humanity and compassion, we shall not be moved-
So, breathe deeply! Close your eyes and visualize something that brings you back into homeostasis with your soul expression. May today bring you a sense of peace, joy, and moments of feeling loved and validated for who you are and what you are gifting humanity.
Ashé! Have a Blessed Day!
**Note: These recordings are based on my blog writings, and all of this comes through Spirit. The recordings are a reflection of the writings and are not edited because I do not want to alter what is coming to me through “Great Spirit”. I am not seeking perfection, only serving as a vessel to bring love, peace, and joy, to our humanity.
