#6 -A Thought 4 Sunday To Carry You Through This Beautiful Day!  “This Little Light Of Mine, I’m Gonna Let It Shine”!

Each Day In Your Life is Unique!

Sunday is the day week where we can allow light to touch what has been wearing heavy in our mind, heart, and soul.   This is the “Letting God Gift” that Sunday provides for us.  It is an opportunity to stop and reflect on what has been laying heavily in our psyche, impacting our heart, which weighs in on our physicality, and then disrupts the joy and peace that our soul holds that grounds our purpose and identity deserve.

 We are light beings and when the woes of the world try to diminish that light, we are in a fight or flight modality of existence.  WE were not created to live in constant despair and chaos.   We were not meant to live in shadows and let things that like us to feel we are powerless, to inhabit the domains of our life-mind-body-emotions-spirit. 

Our essence belongs to only “Our Creator” and “US”.   We don’t just survive living and radiating in “Light”- we thrive when we allow “Light” to permeate every aspect of our being.  This “Light” is sacred and accessible when we acknowledge that it is who we are and the power it has to bring us back into homeostasis with our divinity. 

 When we live in that “Light”, when we walk in that “Light”, when we express ourselves through that “Light”, because we think and respond in that “Light”, we are more ourselves and things that try to overcome that “Light” that glows within us, as the elders have said- “WE shall not be moved”! 

When I would drop my daughter Niki off for school as a child my parting words for her was always, “Don’t let anyone rain on your parade or cast shadows on your light.  Radiate from the inside out, and make this day be a day of joy because you are loved”.   Well, you know mothers know, and up to this day, I will text Niki and recite our little phase to make sure she holds steadfast to her light! 

 So as you reflect on the things that are on your heart, mind, and soul, today, “Let go and let your light which comes from “The Light of the Creator”, so shine within you, that the things that were weighing you down and burdening you, become weightless and insignificant because as is all things in your life you are covered by the “Light” which is always handling things in “Divine right order”!

So, breathe deeply! Close your eyes and visualize something that brings you back into homeostasis with your soul expression.  May today bring you a sense of peace, joy, and moments of feeling loved and validated for who you are and what you are gifting humanity.
