I’m Just Sayin-#173-Maturity of Mind, Body, and Soul is the Ultimate Goal! Voiced

Maturity is learning to walk away from people and situations that threaten your peace of mind, self-respect, values, morals, or self-worth.

Maturity of Mind, Body, and Soul is the Ultimate Goal!

According to the American Behavioral Clinic’s Point of View:
Here Are 10 Signs of Emotional Maturity:

  1. Being Flexible– Being able to make adjustments, adaptations, compromise, and revise things so that situations can be resolved and move forward.
  2. Taking Ownership & Responsibility– An emotionally mature person takes responsibility for their actions and is able to take ownership for their words, actions, and deeds. It requires honesty and acceptance of themselves and the maturity to extend that opportunity to others in return.
  3. Knowing That They Don’t Know Everything– An emotionally mature person acknowledges that they don’t know everything and that they don’t have to know everything. They don’t argue “just to be right” or to show dominance to be in charge. They keep an open mind, and heart to the potential of letting others share their point of view and ideas
  4. They Look for Learning and Growth From Every Opportunity- An emotionally mature person is on the lookout for what can be learned from any situation or opportunity, and searches for the growth opportunity within it, asking “How can I learn and grow from this?”
  5. They Actively Seek Out Multiple Points of View To Help Inform Their Own– Emotionally mature people actively seek to inform their own opinions by actively seeking out the points of view of others. They don’t feel threatened by disagreement and make room for others to have a point of view as well.
  6. They Stay Resilient– In the face of upset, setbacks, or disappointments, an emotionally mature person will acknowledge their feelings, identify what can be done, and then decide what steps to take to move on.
  7. They Have a Calm Disposition– Emotionally mature people do get mad and do not let the emotion dictate their response. They realize that emotions get out of hand there can be no communication or resolve. Remember, it is not the situation, but how we respond to the situation.
  8. They Believe in Themselves- Emotionally mature people don’t have a false sense of self that is ego-based and deluded. But they do have self-respect, love, and acceptance of self that empowers them to live their life organically, authentically, and honestly.
  9. Approachability– Emotionally mature people are very aware and sensitive to the art of communication and earnestly try to talk “to”, and “with” people instead of “at” people. They are by nature now non-judgmental, empathic, and compassionate in their interactions with others.
  10. A Good Sense of Humor– Emotionally mature people realize that all of life can’t be taken seriously. They realize that it is important to “wear this world as a loose garment”!
We are each at different points of maturity in our life, and have different personal goals for our life, but if we step into the fullness of “who we are and who we were meant to blossom as”, it will color the texture of every aspect of our life. So set your intentions and the direction you want your life to move in. Think about the “who of you “you want to love and respect. Think about how you want to be able to respond to the challenges in life and what that would entail of you to be competent and confident.

Be brave in your life. Invest the time and energy in yourself that will help you reap the reward of the whole, healthy, and happy person you deserve to be. You will amaze yourself when you see yourself in action as your “divine self”! You as complete as you were the day you were born. Do it! Grow up and into “You” and enjoy life. After all- “It’s your life and your time to bloom
”!So, breathe deeply! Close your eyes and visualize something that brings you back into homeostasis with your soul expression.  May today bring you a sense of peace, joy, and moments of feeling loved and validated for who you are and what you are gifting humanity. I’m just Saying # 165 -Sometimes There Is So Much Endless Chatter Between Our Minds And Our Hearts, that Our Souls Can’t Get A Word In Edgewise! -Voiced

It is amazing how children know how and when to “go within”.

I am really aware and cognizant of these conversations between the mind, heart, and soul!   So many times, I have felt as though my mind is spinning out of control, and my emotions are all over the place and completely lost in the dialog with my mind!  Each one sometimes seems to be in a control battle for getting their way in the process, that they shut my soul out of the conversation.

Man, what a state of confusion and chaos when neither the mind or the heart will budge to compromise and cooperate with one another.  This imbalance throws everything off and I end up frazzled and out of sync with my soul.

This is not as it should be because for things in my life expression to be in divine right order, the mind serves a purpose, the heart serves a purpose, but they cannot act singularly or independent of one another!  The soul holds the keys to navigating us in the direction of our divine identity and divine Purpose. The mind and heart cannot function void of the wisdom, insight, and divinity of the soul.

So, what do we do?  Well, sometimes I just have to tell my mind and heart to “Be Still”! I must go into my sacred space and put my mind and heart in a “Time In” to “reset and be quiet”!  I have to “shut out” the world that is feeding my mind information and suggestions- sometimes even demands and tell my heart to protect itself from things that are meant to put it in pain.

Then very gently when I think my mind and heart are open to listening, I remind them they have to be in communication with my soul because it has the divine blueprint for my life which holds all the necessary information and instructions on what do to, and when to do it.  I remind them that they are not in the navigation position!  My soul navigates the course of my life, and they are there to serve their purpose of implementing the floor plan from the soul’s blueprint.

This is not a one-time situation that occurs.  There is always going to be a pull to be in charge, but I am patient and compassionate to myself, and I realize that even this struggle is part of the Master Plan.  My part in this is to keep supporting the development of my soul so that eventually I will not have to step in and intercede between my mind and my heart, because they will all operate together as one, and in balance with each other, and navigate through the wisdom of my soul.  Think about this because the world is captivating the input that is trying to “order our steps”.

Ashé!

So, breathe deeply! Close your eyes and visualize something that brings you back into homeostasis with your soul expression.  May today bring you a sense of peace, joy, and moments of feeling loved and validated for who you are and what you are gifting humanity.

Ashé! Have a Blessed Day!
