We can never fully disconnect completely from “Great Spirit”!
Dear “Great Spirit”,
We get so absorbed in ourselves and how we think we are in control with everything in our life expression, that we allow resistance, our ego, and our pridefulness to take over. We push our interconnection with thee “Great Spirit” to the side, thinking we know everything and are not in need of your love and attention in our life. We could not be more wrong. Many times, we get caught up in being so resistant to things that are meant to bless our lives that we miss the message and that these blessings are direct gifts that “Great Spirit “is trying to shower us with.
We get so full of ourselves that it puts a distance between us and our blessings. We have got to work through the need to let our pride and ego prevent us from using our gift of discernment to evaluate if we are in a state of resistance to being resistant of letting go of control! We need your engagement in our lives “Great Spirit”. We need to know when it is and is not appropriate for us to resist things in life. We need to know when our ego is running the show and is not in our best interest. We need to know when our pride is impacting the beauty and light of our divine identity”! We need to make sure that our connection with thee is intact and is a central part of our life experience so that we are in alignment with thee, and that we are grounded so profoundly in our relationship with thee that we live the life you designed for us.
We look to the heavens and to each other from whence cometh our strenght.
This is my theme today and is being shared across my blogs. We cannot have faith in the work we are doing and let fear slip in and steal our momentum. We need to hold on to the faith that we have that our candidates are going to win this election because there is no other choice. We have faith that they are the right people to take the positions of President and Vice President of this nation. We know that our country and the world need the righteous justice, intelligence, fortitude, and experience they have to put this country and the world back on its axis. It is time for the gifts they are holding to start the process of healing the hatred and divisiveness that is crushing the spirits and aspirations of good will and sanity in our humanity.
They need our support, and we need their support to bring ourselves out of this darkness that is trying to capture and destroy the soul expression of our humanity. I feel like this is what Jesus must have felt in Getsemani when he felt the burdens of the world on His shoulders. We know what kindness, morality, justice, compassion, inclusiveness, love, peace and joy, feels like and we know that is what humanity is starving for, but the “nature of the beast” in some of us, do not want that to be everybody’s reality.
It is our collective birthright. It is a thread in our divine design and in our individual “divine identities”! We know what it is, and we know that we want it, but we struggle on how to attain it and sustain it. Kamala and Tim are going to have a fight on their hands to bring civility, cooperation, and compromise as a tools to bring this nation back on track and in alignment with its purpose. It is not going to just happen”!
We are not going to heal with some magic potion. But we will heal because we are going to hold on to our faith in humanity and faith in “Great Spirit”. We are not alone in this battle for the soul of humanity. There are forces seen and unseen that are working with us and through us! We just have to be “faithful” to the “Cause”! Be strong in your stance for our Democracy! Be bold in your convictions that we have a “Constitution” that is a living document that we can uphold our principles of goodness and fairness upon. We got this and the Eternal Powers that be-has us!
Sometimes we have to step out on a limb and let our faith take over!

Yes, that is the message that came through today. We are living in such a state of anxiety and fear of what the future holds that we forget that we are not alone in the chaos and confusion that is vibrating on this planet at this time. To be real, it has always been a challenge for “Great Spirit”, to balance us out from the beginning of time. The difference now is the access to social media that feeds our souls with information that we don’t know what to believe is in fact real or manipulation to force us into living a fearful disoriented life.
We buy into the systems that control our lives and thought processes. Consequently, we are stuck thinking as a collective humanity that we are not capable of shifting our consciousness and the vibration of the planet from a negative vibration to a positive vibration. We have the capacity through our faith and fearless soul expressions, to counterbalance the negative with a positive vibration that can light up the world and set mankind back in alignment with “Great Spirit”. We are created with a “Spirit” that is more powerful when entrenched in our faith, to do anything that is required to live in a world that is in alignment with our soul’s desire to be in full expression of love, peace, joy, and compassion for one another.
So as of today, we are stepping into our power which is founded and expressed in our Faith! We refuse to allow anyone or circumstance of life that challenges our wellbeing to have control over our evolved consciousness which is in relationship with “Great Spirit”. We simply don’t get it- Let Go and Let “Great Spirit” Work on Your Behalf!
One of our biggest flaws as human beings is impatience and the need for immediate gratification. Well, news flash- the universe does not work like that. We are so blessed, and we have so much to be grateful for, cause but for the grace of “Great Spirit” and our reckless care for our planet, which is now fighting back with a vengeance, we could be facing the unforgiving storms that have left so many people devastated. We struggle with trying to control every element of our lives which is absolutely impossible and unreasonable. We wrestle with trying to be in charge at all times, and we can’t! the lesson is about a walk of “Faith”. The lesson is about “Trust”! The lesson is about knowing that “Great Spirit”, is working behind the scenes and will come through for us, in time and right on time. “Great Spirit”, is ahead of the game and knows that if we struggle and push too hard and the universe keeps saying “no”, there is a reason and perhaps not the season or circumstances that are in our best interest.
When things just seem to have continuous roadblocks, it is a signal for us to-Stop-Pay Attention-Reflect- and hand it over to “Great Spirit”. We have to believe that we have a lifetime partner in our relationship with “Great Spirit”. We have to believe that what is for us will be given to us. It does not mean we sit back and not aspire for things or not make an effort to resolve a challenge that has confronted us. It means that we do our part and then we have faith and trust that “Great Spirit”, will support us in manifesting the right thing at the right time. Remember- You can’t say you have faith and trust as the core element of this special relationship and then turn around and still try to control the outcome. Know that you are never alone handling all the elements of your life so take a step back from your pride and let’s humble ourselves and accept the gift of being able to ask for help and grateful enough to receive the help. At first it can be scary, but trust me, once you release and let go, putting your faith into practice, it is amazing what you will experience.
So “Great Spirit”,
Please help us to understand our powerful and life giving our relationship is with you. Quiet the anxiousness of our human response to life challenges and teach us how to have faith and trust in you so that we can live a healthy, whole and happy life.

This is an important distinction, and we must realize that being “of the world” distracts us and separates us from being in the sacred space that shields us from allowing people to influence and dictate who we are and what we are worthy of. We were designed and created by “The Infinite”, “The Source”, ‘The Alpha and the Omega”. We were created with all that we need to fulfill our “divine purpose”, by none other than “Great Spirit”. We are lacking in nothing! We are complete and just who we were ordained to be as a blessing to this world. We are here to love, learn, give our gifts, experience the full range of our emotions as we live life, and to evolve spiritually so that our soul has voice and expression in our lifetime.
We are not here to be dismissed or abused. We are not here to have our gifts stifled or devalued. We are here to leave the vibration of our soul expression on the heart space of humanity. We are here to ask questions that will enlighten us and feed our brain and soul. We are here to deepen our love for “Great Spirit” and all that has been provided for us to live “our best life” and to “be the best version of our higher self”. Walk in your truth. Fill the spaces you inhabit with the warmth of the joy you carry in your “spirit”. Let people see you for who you are, and when in doubt, just come out and ask them if they see you, especially when you know they are not treating you appropriately. Walk in the beauty and majesty of who you are. Don’t under any circumstances dim your light to build others up for each of us have that light within us and it is our responsibility to shine it with as much brilliance as possible. Be totally in your life. Feel alive! Breathe with the rhythmic pulse of your sweetness and kindness because it can be contagious. shower the world with your joy and thirst for life so that others will know how valuable the gift of life is. There is so much going on in our world today on all the fronts that impact either directly or indirectly! We are each as individuals and as global citizens, being confronted with issues from economics, emotional-mental wellbeing, spiritual warfare, family issues, political confusion, climate crisis, Ai and social media responsibility and accountability, education, retirement, housing, etc. Now that it is all out there let’s take a deep breath and come to an understanding that we as individuals we only have control over what is impacting our life. It is imperative that we assess what we can take control over and what we cannot control and decide what is best for us to do in prioritizing what to do and how we can handle our priorities.
We cannot control the 21+ wars that the world is engaging in. We cannot control the economics, climate change, etc., in our country except how we vote and how engaged we want to be on the political front. The personal aspects of our life need us to find ways to hold on to our “peace”, because that is the only way we will be able live our lives with some measure of stability and joy. The mess that is going on in our world today, has been going on since the beginning of time, and because of the screwed-up nature of who we are being in our humanity, that is not going to change without hard work. Meanwhile, we deserve to find our peace! We deserve to live our joy! We deserve to not just survive, but to thrive. We have the right to live in beauty and experience the fulfillment of what “Great Spirit” intended for us.Do something today that gives you joy and peace.

I woke up this morning to find out it was “Happy Daughter’s Day”, and it caused me to just sit in a smile for a while as I reflected on my life’s journey with my daughter Nicole Angel! It is amazing to have the gift of sharing your life with the love and respect of a daughter. I think it means different things for Moms and Dads because there is a special kind of connection between Moms and daughters that I can’t really explain. I don’t know if it is because we as women can identify with the unique elements of being a woman. We have shared experiences with our daughters at different stages of our life. When we bond with each other in this special relationship, I cannot express how beautiful and fulfilling it can be. They say that the cells of our children that we birth stay in our blood till eternity. Can you imagine how deep that relationship has the potential of being. I treasure my relationship with my daughter and feel so blessed to have been given the gift to be her vessel to enter this earthly plain.
Dads have their own special connection to their daughters. Innately, most fathers feel like they are their daughter’s protectors. They are the ones who take it upon themselves to make sure they are cared for in terms of their security not just physically but financially. Fathers can have the advantage of reading and identifying with the other males which can give them an advantage in protecting, nurturing and guiding their daughters in learning how to be discerning in their own relationships.
So today as we celebrate the gift of having our daughters, let’s do something special for them like:
Text them a love note
Write them a love note and send it to them- I still have love notes from my mother
Send them candy or flowers
Cook them their favorite meal
Do whatever is your special little something between the two of you
I know that my sisters feel the same way about their daughters as well. I can see the imprint we have had on each of them. I can see how this is an eternal relationship is real from our own family life experiences. I count my Niki as my greatest life blessing!

Realize the value in taking the things on our “plate of to do’s”, one day at a time, one task at a time, one moment at a time. We only get done in a day what “Great Spirit” intended!

Everyone experiences those times in their life when they are overwhelmed and overspent. We have those moments where we feel we cannot catch our breath or see how in the world we are going to get back in balance and back on track. What is this balance we are trying to have in our life? What is the track we are trying desperately not to fall off of? Who designed the elements that make up the rails of the track? Is the track realistic? Have we prioritized ourselves first, or last? Are we taking into consideration that if we don’t do “care for self-first”, that we will never be able to do our “To Do List”?
We have a “destiny path” and we have a “Destiny Purpose”, and the things that go into manifesting these elements of our life, will rise up over the surface of the things that at times seem to infuse themselves into our path as a distraction or for another analogy, those annoying speed bumps, that cause us to have to slow down to prevent us from damaging our car. We then have to evaluate, what street we are going to travel on to avoid the distraction and follow through with the things we have committed ourselves to.
We have to find ways to handle what can seem like, mountains instead of just speed bumps, so we can give our energy to the things we are committed to. Step into that space where you and “Great Spirit” reside in relationship and allow “Great Spirit” to guide you and glide you effortlessly through the distractions so that you don’t get trapped into a feeling of being overwhelmed and “Stuck in the Muck”!
Stop what you are doing.
Step into that sacred space.
Ask for what you need.
Let go and surrender to the Master Carpenter, cause “Great Spirit” can re-craft the scenario and release you from the stress.

We all have a “divine light” that resides in our soul expression that is meant to be shared with the world. We come to this reality with that light, and it is eternal. It is the essence of our soul and the connection to “Great Spirit” so that no matter what we think or experience in life, that connection is never fully severed. It can have shadows that overcast its brilliance at times, but it is never fully extinguished. We have to care for ourselves in ways that are not simply our physiology, but we have a responsibility to care for our soul and the light that sustains its “purpose” and our “divine identity”. We cannot live the fullness of our life if we disconnect from that “Light”.
The beauty of our “Soul Light” comes through our smile, our gentility, our compassion, our kindness, and the joy we share with others. It is the rays of this “Soul Light”, that have a vibration that can when shared, bring light where there was darkness. Shine your light my friends. Let it radiate every day and everywhere. Don’t hide it and don’t let anyone cast shadows on your “Soul Light” and deter you from living your “best life”. It’s a birthright!
