Breaking News!! It’s A New Day!!!  September 25th, 2024- Day 43- We are Called to be an Exponent of Our Own Lives-If Not Us Then Who Will Advocate for Us? Today is a day that “Great Spirit” has ordained for you life and soul expression.

Daily Mantra:

There is nothing you do not have the potential of accomplishing and manifesting that are the true desires of your heart.  We are each entitled to live a full, joy filled, and purposeful life.  Take hold of who your “divine identity” is, and your “divine life’s destiny plan and journey and will bless you and the world will be blessed.

Chat for the day: 

Well, this is something I don’t keep up with, but I realize this morning that I am not really a good exponent in my own life.  I have a real problem advocating for my own gifts and talents.  This goes back to childhood where I would be asked to sing solos in church and would feel sensitive that I was standing out and taking center stage over other people in our choir.  I was talented pianist but was reserved in performing because I felt like it was “showing off”!  I get this pattern of behavior from my parents because we were taught that humility of spirit was important.   Consequently, I guess I have hidden much of what my gifts are, and it has not served me well!  As I see other people share their gifts and find success in their efforts, I watch them advocate for their gifts with ease.  It is a sense of confidence that astounds me.  Each of us have to step out of our comfort zone and be our own big time “Exponent”- “Advocate” in our life so that our gifts shine out with the brilliance that vibrates our soul expression.  The world needs what each of us has to offer.

 As it says in Matthew 5:14-16-

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”  This verse emphasizes the idea that we should not hide our talents, gifts, or good deeds but instead use them to benefit others and bring glory to God.  So today, let’s dust the cobwebs off our talents and gifts so that the light that exist within beams out into the universe and radiates into the flame of our humanity.  Let’s live our purpose with the confidence to “advocate for our highest good” and the fulfillment of our “Divine Purpose”. 

Speak up for yourself!  Invest in your gifts! Share your gifts!

Chat for the day: Sorry this is posted late, but it was my day in the park!

This is a lazy day!  This is a day of rest, relaxation and reflection!  It is a day for getting some much-deserved coffee from our quiet intimate little café.  It is a day to go to the kid’s soccer games and order lunch to be delivered to the park.  It is a day to forget about laundry, cleaning house, and organizing for the week ahead.  Sometimes we just need to take of ourselves and do the things that make us feel good.  We get so absorbed in everything the world throws at us and we spend so much time in a “fight or flight” modality of living, that we at times cannot catch our breath.  Now is the time to infuse a day to carve out for fun and joy for our self and our loved ones.  It is time to get off the treadmill that has consumed our lives.

The principle to live by that will support our destiny path is:

Tiny Tips for Moms and Dads #68 If You See Your Being a Parent as an Act of Having to Sacrifice, You have Missed the Gift and Lost Your Opportunity to Become the Fullness of Who You Have the Potential of Evolving to-

Parenting is by no means not a lot of hard work, but the rewards you receive from that eternal relationship out weights anything else you could invest in.  If you are so endowed, realize you have been given a “Gift”!

As a parent, I must embrace the gift of parenthood and the responsibilities of this role in my child’s life.  It is a lifelong journey in which there will be opportunities for me to build a loving and respectful relationship with my child.  Every day is a day which presents new challenges and new growth. I feel that this poem describes my feelings of being given the gift of “parenthood”.

I Realize

I realize I’ve been given the gift to be your parent and as your parent I realize this is a lifetime commitment.

I realize this means I have the responsibility to be your lifetime earthly ‘Spirit Guide”.

I realize you are a gift given to me great intention and you and I are connected by design.

I realize you are expecting me to take my responsibility seriously and understand I cannot be your friend and “Spirit Guide” at the same time.

I realize you are expecting me to love you, guide you, support you, and discipline you, with consistency and continuity.  I realize I must follow through with what I proclaim to be truth, justice, integrity, and genuine love for you, so you will ultimately develop your own sense a conscious and values.

I realize I must be very intentional in spending time with you, praying with you, playing with you, laughing with you, crying with you, listening to you, and problem solving with you.

I realize I have a responsibility to provide for you- to make sure you have all the resources and experiences you need to be a whole, healthy, happy and confident human being.

I realize you are not me and I am not you and as your “Spirit Guide” I have a responsibility to observe you and discover who you are and what “Great Spirit” has ordained you to contribute to society so I can support you on your journey to “Greatness”.

I realize you came here knowing who you are and what you must do and if I honor and respect you and if I demand that others do the same, you will blossom into your full expression of beauty and this world will be a better place because of you.

I realize I have a responsibility to be all I can be so you will know I expect you to do the same.

I realize our love for each other will last beyond this lifetime and the next and what we build with each other today will last forever. 

I realize you are my gift, and I am yours.

Sunday Morning Prayers-#35 Coasting Through Life Does Not Reap the Life We Deserve

I pray that we live the fullness of our lives and not resort to
 coasting through our divine life’s journey.

“Great Spirit”,

We come to thee asking for your support in helping us stay the course of living the fullness of life that you endowed us with and to not be distracted by the woes and chaos of this uncanny world that seeks to steal our joy and power to manifest our “best life”. We don’t want to “coast” through life, we want all the beauty, grace, mercy, compassion, joy, and peace- a peace that surpasses all understanding that this world could but imagine.  We want to share these precious gifts to bring light and hope to humanity. 

We know what power lies in these gifts and how they can shift the consciousness of all those that have clarity of mind, heart, and soul.  This energetic force of being wholly and intentional about living a full and enriched life is a birthright of every human being.  We must always remember who we are and how you love each of us as your divine creations.  

We know your intention for our life is that we have all that we need as well as the desires of our heart as long as we are supportive of others realizing those dreams and aspirations for their life. We know that with this desire to live the fullness of a good life it requires humility of spirit so that we live our lives from a position of gratitude.  Gratitude impacts all arenas of our life’s journey. Without a grateful heart we are lost to this world that wants to distract us from our joy and fulfillment.  Open our eyes that we might see the glorious promises you have in store for us!  Open our ears so that we might hear the sweet whispers of love you have for us.  Open our minds so that we use the intelligence you imparted in us to know clearly right from wrong, truth from lies, justice from injustice, and compassion from judgment.  We have so much potential to manifest a “good life”, a life of purpose and fulfillment.  Hear this prayer of thanksgiving for unselfishly giving us a life that only our imagination can limit.

This blog is in honor and memory for my Aunt Pearl, who at the tender age of 103 years of age made her transition to heaven today.  She lived a life engulfed in love. Love of God! Love of self! (which was her secret for living such a long and beautiful life)- Love and devotion to Family and Love of humanity!
