Intentionally Guiding Children Away from the “ME, Myself, and I” Societal Syndrome
It is important to surround our children with people, who have an ego that is in “Check”.
It is really kind of synchronistic because just this morning on social media there was a discussion from a terrorized citizen, who had an encounter with a driver who almost hit her, and his response was to laugh at her. That was offensive enough but to read the comments of some of the people on the platform degrading her and pushing the blame of the situation on her and not the driver, validated my response to the post:
There is so much rage and loss of civility in this country now, that going out of your home every day has become fear driven. Our nation has lost sight of being lawful, being courteous, being compassionate, and being patient with one another. We have evolved into a society of ME, MYSELF, and I beings and our humanity is on the verge of extinction!
We as parents and caregivers of children have a huge responsibility to be intentional about nurturing healthy development of our children’s ego. We must be intentional about demonstrating ourselves that we are human beings that are sensitive and aware of the wellbeing of other people. We have to use discernment in engaging our children with adults and children who have a similar value system that is reflected in our family.
This does not mean that they will only engage with children and adults that are kind and thoughtful, and perhaps even have similar values to your family, but remember you are intentionally formulating a village to support you and your children in nurturing and guiding the character development of your children. You want to cultivate the kind of character in your child that reflects their highest self and elicits as a result only the best relationships, opportunities, and experiences for your child. The joys of “Parenthood”!
Thank You Jim Brickman for your beautiful music that vibrates through this recording. This is a selection from his album – “Music to Quiet Your Mind and Sooth Your World”.
Sunday Morning Prayers-#110 Our GPS System-Our GPS System Being CALM-COOL-and COLLECTED-Voiced
***For translation of the text of the blog: touch the Blue Globe on the top right-hand corner.
GPS stands for Global Positioning System. As we know it is a satellite based navigational system that provides us with a location and time information anywhere on this planet Earth. It uses a network of satellites that are continuously transmitting signals. We receive these signals on the multitude of devices that are receptive to this transmission which has in turn the calculated their precise position. There are three aspects to make this system work:
Global: This earthly system is global, meaning it can be used anywhere on the planet.
Positioning: It is a positioning system that provides us with information about their location, speed, and direction.
System: This is a rather complex and entails the satellites orbiting the Earth, ground stations that monitor and control then and ultimately receivers that are used by us- the end -users.
As I see it, we have a more profound GPS system that is available to us without even taking out a subscription, needing WIFI, needing upgrades, updates or depending on any form of technology to engage in the interaction between us and “Great Spirit”. This GPS system- God Protective System is activated by Faith, Humility and Trust. When it is engaged it supports us navigating our path and purpose. When we stray off that path or are confronted by challenges that overwhelm us, “Great Spirit” intercedes and re-calculates our route so that we are never lost, or out of “Great Spirit’s” guidance and support. This Heavenly system takes us through a series of steps in order to re-align us in the direction that we are called to go and opens our mind’s eye to clearer understanding of things we are struggling with. This is a five-step process that is done on our behalf.
Recenter us when we have drifted off course.
Realigns us when we have made decisions void of using our discernment and respond out fear instead of faith.
Repairs the fragmented pieces of our hearts when we are in pain.
Reconnects us to our divined calling and purpose for existence.
Reminds us, who we are and whose we are.
This GPS system calls us to navigate our life on 3 basic reactions when we are challenged on this journey through life. We must first be calm. This means that we hold on to our peace and joy staying grounded in that vibration. Secondly, we must be cool. That means when challenged or overwhelmed we must not react with anger or fear. Thirdly, we must be collected. That means we gather unto ourselves the navigation tools that lifts us up to higher ground and moves us forward to resolve and enlightenment. WE simply evolve. We learn that life requires us to create a ritual that supports these reactions. We learn that we must-
Pause and retreat from the “noise” that attempt to short circuit the Heavenly GPS system.
Breathing is key to settle not just our physicality but our Spirit.
Active listening is critical in deciphering what “God’s” message and road map calculations are.
Trust is a difficult attribute for us as human beings. It entails faith and being vulnerable, but it can be profoundly freeing when you step into it. Letting go and letting “God”!
Act on what “Spirit” shares with you because “Great Spirit” knows what you need and what you don’t need to be in the fulness of who you are.
Resting and surrendering in the “Knowing” that every step you take, and word you speak, every emotion you experience is in “Divine Right Order” because you are in alignment with “God’s Protective System”!
Be CALM!
Be COOL!
Stay COLLECTED!
It works!
Ashé! Ashé! Amen!
So, breathe deeply! Close your eyes and visualize something that brings you back into homeostasis with your soul expression. May today bring you a sense of peace, joy, and moments of feeling loved and validated for who you are and what you are gifting humanity.
Ashé! Have a Blessed Day!

Bonding Siblings but Acknowledging Individual Identities-
These little guys will be bonded as loving brothers forever.
Their relationship has been solidified by the way in which their parents are modeling for them and nurturing their interactions and engagements with each other.
We as parents play a critical role in how our children interact with one another. We do by our behavior also demonstrate how to show that we love, honor and respect each other. It is a daily task to find ways of calling to their attention that as siblings they have a special relationship with each other that is different from any other relationship they will have the blessing to hold near and dear.
It means that we call to their attention when they are not being loving and caring to each other and engage them in expressing what it feels like to not be treated kindly, and what it feels like to not treat someone kindly. I believe in using their mishaps as an opportunity to reflect and talk things through. There is no other time in our human condition that we have the chance to learn “how to be human”.
We must infuse in their understanding of each other that as siblings we are attached not just because we may have the same parents or parent, but because we were gifted to each other. We must nurture them being attentive and responsive to one another. We must show them that being siblings requires being loving, patient, compassionate, and trustworthy. We must bring to light the elements of their divine identity that are similar, and what is different but unique about each other.
Can it be that what makes them different from each other is actually what complements the essence of the other? Can it be that recognizing all these elements of each child’s character -personality, is what is needed to balance and support the sibling connective relationship? Can they actually enjoy and receive the essence of their fellow sibling’s personage to the point that they unlike anyone else in their life, other than their parents, actually catch and see the authentic spirit of each other? Is it this essence that they fall in love with and what perpetuates what can be an eternal relationship?
This sibling relationship can be so divinely ethereal that at times they can communicate without words or physical presence. Parents have an opportunity to care and nurture this sibling relationship development, from the very beginning. When I say beginning, I mean from the womb. It is important for the child-children that will be gifted a sibling, begin to be part of the whole birthing experience. Daily talks to mommy’s tummy included. Talk! Read them stories! Let them see your sonograms!
Make a “Big Brother’s-Big Sister’s” plan of action. Inclusion! Inclusion! Inclusion! Guide them in being happy for each other’s accomplishments, and make sure that praise and recognition is always balanced! Do not cultivate jealousy and envy between them. Let them feel an appropriate and healthy sense of care and responsibility for each other. They have “each other’s back” in this chaotic world. Be intentional in creating situations and events that will elicit “good memories”!
P.S.
I know that this is a cultural bias, but I feel it is important for young children to share a bedroom with each other. I think my most favorite and long-lasting memories I have of my childhood is when my dad converted our attic into our bedroom. Four of the five siblings had to share that bedroom. The things we did and the adventures we had at night when we were suppose to be asleep in bed-well they were filled with mischief that bonded us as a “tight clan”!
We each had our own little corner of the room that was decorated specifically to our individual taste, but the center of the room, was our gathering point-when we were not sitting on each other’s bed or cuddling with each other through nightmares or a storm. I would not trade the “Attic” for anything! When we became teenagers, we got our own room or a room we shared. That brought things to the “brotherhood” and “sisterhood” stage. To this day, we as siblings love, honor, and respect each other. It is such a special relationship and so much so, friends say they wish they were part of our “sibling clan”!
I’m Just Sayin #158-Energetic- Energy: The Divine Breath of Life-Voiced
There is the “Divine Spirit” of energy that flows in all that has life on earth.
Breathe it in and “let Spirit do the rest”!
***For translation of the text of the blog: touch the Blue Globe on the top right-hand corner.
Energy-
It stems from or is a result of the “power from the source”. That seems to allude to the notion that a power within us from either a physical source or spiritual energetic force, emits the transmission of energy that moves us into action, vigor, zeal, a call to action or activity. The most important part of this phenomenon is in where the essence of the source is coming from and then to decide consciously, because we are “awake“ in our life experience, what is the purpose of that energy and where it is to be used.
It can have a huge physical response in some situations when we allow “Spirit” to be released in the fullness of what is divinely ours. We are majestically transformed when “Spirit” infuses into our minds, bodies and spirits! The ability for us to harness that divine energy and apply it in our life is without a doubt evidence of the “meaning” of life.
Believe me when I say you have to experience it in small dosages because it is so powerful that it cannot be sustained on any one thing forever. That was not the plan. Glimpses of the possibilities of that divine energy is meant to open our eyes and hearts to manifesting beauty and essence in the course of our earthly lives.
The potency of that energy or energetic expression, then determines the longevity of what is actualized and sustained. Many times, we get enthralled about something or someone and we go at it in full energetic expression. Depending on what or whom we commit this energy to, will either surface as something we want to sustain or enjoy at the moment and then reinvest ourselves in another arena.
It does take a lot of “energy” to sustain our actions and activities, and people that we choose to invest in and experience. The more we are in tune with the “Source” from where this internal energy is being defused from, the clearer and more discerning we will be on where and what, and with whom to share this energy with. It is our breath of life that contains this energy. I can’t imagine the possibilities we have as a collective humanity!
We need to breathe the breath of life that holds the energetic field force that moves in our being, forward to give meaning and substance to our life’s journey, and consciously send or give some of that spiritual energetic field force into our collective humanity.
So, breathe deeply! Close your eyes and visualize something that brings you back into homeostasis with your soul expression. May today bring you a sense of peace, joy, and moments of feeling loved and validated for who you are and what you are gifting humanity.

Are They Really Picky Kids or Kids of Discernment?
Celio has a very discerning palate and is very particular about what he does and does not like! It makes him who is he-authentic living!
It is important for us as parents to acknowledge what does and does not resonant with our children. Each one, no matter how many children are in the family, will express themselves and their likes and dislikes differently and of course they will not necessarily like the same things. So take note! They seem to come with a certain essence about them that little by little is revealed in their interactions with their family, family environment, other relations, and friends.
They need to have the latitude and freedom to tell us what they like and dislike. They need the safety net that will make them feel that we are willing to give them the space and respect to be their authentic self. There is the saying, “pick your battles”, and this really applies to parenting. If we create a relationship with our children that is crafted on battling with them about everything, we will never be able to engage them in a collaborative and sustainable parent-child healthy relationship.
There will be times that we as parents have to make a choice for them when it involves their safety and wellbeing. Even then, however, it is important to talk to our children about “why”, we are making the choice we are making. I feel that this supports children in being able to utilize their innate gift of discernment when making their own important and difficult decisions. There is so much modeling of behavior in the art of parenting. Parenting it is a lot of work grounded in acute observational skills, patience, unconditional love, void of judgement, full of grace, and being gentle with ourselves, if we are to sustain this eternal relationship.
Now I want to assure you that all of our engagement with our children is not just nurturing and guiding them! There has to be a balance so that we also know how to be playful, and joy filled spirits around them! We don’t want to be heavy weighted energies around them, so that we stifle the joy, excitement, and exploration, of their sacred “childhood”! Actually, it is kind of funny to watch what they come up with in terms of their likes and dislikes. Remember, they are not “picky”, they just know what fits and resonates them.
P.S.
And why we are in the “allowing space” to make time and room for them to express their likes and dislikes-their preference- we model for them how to do so being respectful to themselves and respectful to us as their parents.

Go to that special place where you are one with yourself and one with “Great Spirit!
***For translation of the text of the blog: touch the Blue Globe on the top right-hand corner.
Dear “Great Spirit”,
You and you alone know when we need to step back from the world and take the time and opportunity to go into our sacred space to retreat, reflect, restore, and reset. Sometimes we get so absorbed in trying to keep the rat race on track that we forget to stop, look at ourselves, and take stock of where we are in our life. We know that you have our best interest at heart and that you want us to take care of ourselves.
We know that by taking out “Me Time” we put ourselves in a position to re-enter into our lives with more vitality, purpose, enthusiasm, and love for the gift of our life. “Great Spirit”, Lead us, guide us, incline thine ear to us, and remind us that we must honor and respect this body temple that you have endowed us with.
Ashe! Amen! Aho! Shalom! Salaam! Om Shanti! Sat Nam! Ameen!
And So It Is!

I’m just Sayin #153-I Love you: These are the three most important words in the human language, no matter what language you speak! Voiced
Children can’t help themselves- “They know that all there really is-is LOVE”.
***For translation of the text of the blog: touch the Blue Globe on the top right-hand corner.
There are over seven thousand live languages across this planet. I know in my spirit that there is in every language a inference of some sort that aligns with the emotions and action of “Love” and the capacity to love and be loved. This is a main ingredient of our “Divine Design as spiritual beings.
I could go around the world searching for those words that express, “I love you”, but I think you get what I am looking for. Yes, I am trying to process why this simple, yet complex word or phrase is so difficult to express in its truest purest form. The significance of it has been marginalized by using it to market products of material gain through our media and this has destroyed the essence of what this phrase has the potential of being and giving.
When we take the time to dissect and process how we use it and how we feel when we are given it, we realize how precious it was meant to be. It goes beyond what it attracts on a physical level. It speaks to something deep within our soul. If we are honest with ourselves, I doubt very seriously, if there is one person on the face of this earth who is in their right mind, that would say, “I don’t need to be loved”! We need to love, and we need to be loved. We need to be loved from a psychological, emotional, and spiritual state of being. It is a major part of our human design and the complex network of our soul which is the essence of being “who we are” in the scheme of our life expression.
Many times, we run around trying to fill a void that haunts us, not realizing that we are missing that feeling of being loved and the need to be able to love someone. That void can only be filled by allowing ourselves to be open and vulnerable to stepping out on faith and releasing our heart from bondage. There are steps that we must take before we get to that place. It does of course first take us recognizing that we need to give love and receive love.
The next step and probably the foundation on which this whole process is built upon is, “WE MUST LOVE OURSELVES”! Love ourselves first you say? Yes! You cannot even begin to think about loving someone else or being loved if in the core of your being you have not given time and thought to how and if you demonstrate that you love and appreciate yourself. You have to love you! You have to respect you! You have to work on loving yourself if you come to the realization how little you have invested in loving yourself.
People can tell when they come into relationship with you if you don’t love yourself. It is like an alarm sets off and it can color whether it will be a healthy or unhealthy relationship. I’m not talking about becoming a narcissistic egomaniac! There must be balance. I feel that “Great Spirit” drenched us in love. Our souls were engulfed in love! We cannot live our full life’s potential ignoring our need for being loved and giving love.
You see, this is another reason that I love children and admire how they see life through a lens that is alive and unfiltered. They give love and they let you know when they need love. The more we nurture their innate ability to spread love unconditionally, and to feel comfortable asking for the love they deserve from us, their parents and extended family, the better chance we have of arming them with the tools to stay healthy in their future relationships as adults.
I get, “I love you”, every morning when my little grandsons come racing through the door for our “Home School- LePier Academy” to hug me and tell me I love you. It starts my day. Everyday no matter how busy my daughter, Niki is, she finds a way to tell me-“I love you Mama”! I never get off a call with my niece Robbie, that she does not say, “I love you Becky”! Then there is my niece Leilani that goes out of her way to show me love attention to support my work.
Our words and our actions speak volumes about how we love one another. Step out in faith and share the beauty and bounty of the love that is waiting in your soul to be given. Remember this though, sometimes your love will be reciprocated by someone other than the person you gave it to. Just live-in love! It’s what life is all about, cause the secret is- “All there really is -is LOVE”.
So, breathe deeply! Close your eyes and visualize something that brings you back into homeostasis with your soul expression. May today bring you a sense of peace, joy, and moments of feeling loved and validated for who you are and what you are gifting humanity.

I’m Just Sayin-#151-Insightful: Seeing the World and Understanding the World Without a Tainted Lens-Voiced
I can see clearly now, my eyes, my ears, my heart and my soul are ready to receive the things in the world that will enhance and enrich my life. There is light all around us we just have to step into it!
***For translation of the text of the blog: touch the Blue Globe on the top right-hand corner.
Vision / sight that emanates from within, initiated by the spirit to create a quest for learning, growing, developing, eventual evolvement of consciousness. The inherent value of “Insight” lies in its organic origins. Undetermined genesis, insight lies between the realms of the conscious and the unconscious. When “insight” occurs, it shows itself as a gentle “ah hah” moment coloring the colorless canvas of ideas or experience. Insightful or in-sight-full of an innocent nature bears its truth without apology. Insights occur after quieting and emptying the individual agenda for free time to spend in meditation, prayer and connection.
When we have the moments of insight about something or someone, it stirs something of excitement and satisfaction all at one time and those feelings run throughout our whole body. When it happens, it comes as a surprise so we never know when we will be treated to those moments of insightfulness and clarity. It’s like our eyes are open to something for the first time each time.
We must be intentional about having time to settle into our surroundings and being present so that we are able to be observant and cognizant to what is being presented to us to learn and grasp. Now is the time to quiet the voices of this life experience of spirit in form and listen to the Infinite. I trust that this process of “insight” will offer the guidance that will each of us need at the time.
This is another essence of what I love about children! They don’t have the same filters that we have clothed ourselves with, so they are in a position to see everything for just what it is and the world is constantly unveiling new ideas and understandings for them. They live in a world of newness and excitement if we cultivate an environment for them that provides the “allowing”, “space” and “understanding “ for what they need to thrive. We need to secure that sacred space and time for our lives as adults. It is the key to enlightment!
So, breathe deeply! Close your eyes and visualize something that brings you back into homeostasis with your soul expression. May today bring you a sense of peace, joy, and moments of feeling loved and validated for who you are and what you are gifting humanity.

Thank You, Nicóle Añgel Evans for sharing your beautiful photography with us to enhance the essence of what is being channeled,
Under normal circumstances, children have big, open, loving hearts that are receptive of engaging with other children and adults from a “heart space”!
When we have the privileged of nurturing the unconditional loving heart of a child, it is imperative that we are intentional about developing good self-esteem in our children so that to begin with, they know that they are worthy of relationships that are gentle in nature, respectful, and cognizant of who they are. Everyone is challenged at some point in their life in terms of ‘Feeling good” about themselves as they navigate through life and encounter people and situations that test our ability to ward off negativity. Our children are vulnerable as they embark on this journey of “learning life” and “learning the nature and character” of other people.
I have found in my experience with children, that making friends with other children is by far more challenging for them, then relating to adults. I don’t think, other than parents and family, that children are as concerned about their relationship with adults. Children expect us to validate them and demonstrate in both words and actions how we feel about them. Children, I really hate to say, can be “mean spirited” and even perpetrate acts of bullying on other children they feel empowered over.
It has become a crisis in this country and must be addressed seriously. We must empower our children to know who they are and deflect anything other children-even adults- might say to dehumanize them. We can’t allow anyone to steal our child-children’s joy and self-knowledge from them. We must give them the tools to combat this negative battery that might come “at” them when they least expect it. There must be clear boundaries!
So many times, I have witnessed our children, who are just “pure love” encounter other children that think it is ok to either physically or verbally attack their “Sweet Spirits”. We have given them the protocol to come directly to us or the adults in charge and “speak their truth about what they have experienced”. We have grounded them in knowing who and what they are in connection to their “divine identities”.
Ua will respond to anyone that tries to offend him or hurt him that “I am a child of God”! We did not tell him to say this, he knows it intuitively and has no fear in responding with “His truth of who he is”! I might add that it throws the other child off! They just sort of look at him and go away.
We have a responsibility to ensure that our children develop healthy loving relationships and that the children theychose to engage with are worthy of them. Remember that we are their models of how to live and be in the world, so they are mindful of who we engage with and how we are treated by other people. The commitment to worthiness begins with us!
Parenting Tips:
So, breathe deeply! Close your eyes and visualize how intricately you are connected to this life that has been brought on to this planet that has its own unique and “Divined Identity” and “Divined Purpose. May today bring you a sense of peace, joy, and moments of feeling loved and validated for who you are your journey through parenthood, and what you are not only gifting humanity, but how the life of your child is a blessing to you, and how you are a blessing to your child.

Sunday Prayer #124-Hear Our Prayer Oh Lord. Incline Thy Ear to Us and Grant Us Thy Peace.
***For translation of the text of the blog: touch the Blue Globe on the top right-hand corner.
This is the prayer I pray every morning before I start my day. I believe if we want to live in the” present” of our life it requires that we become in tune and aware of what is going on around us and through us. We have to become cognizant that we really are operating on both a planetary plane and a spiritual plane. All day long these two realities are interlocking and infusing in and out.
When I am fully present in my life it is so much more vital and energetic. It seems like all my senses are alive and I see things more clearly which enables me to have a better perspective and understanding of what I am experiencing and engaging in. When I am in the “present”, I am able to also be available and accessible to “Spirit”- “The Presence”.
When I pray this prayer, I am operating in faith that my thoughts and prayers are being heard and responded too. I feel a sense of peace and calm when I operate in this vein. I don’t get engulfed in being raddled and or distraught in the face of trials and challenges that I cannot resolve or change.
Those everyday situations and circumstances that interject themselves most of the time unexpectedly can take us out of our sacred space. Once again, it requires us to take it one day at a time and one situation at a time. It is a life -time practice. It means developing a ritual that you use to hold on to your peace. For me it is this prayer.
Each of us wants to be heard. Each of us needs to have a sense of peace and tranquility in our lives. In our effort to create a world that is worthy of engaging in we need to learn how to not only be listened to but we need to learn how to listen to each other.
I feel that the ability for us to be able to incline our ear to each other, will be the first step to moving to peace., that “peace” that surpasses all understanding. That same kind of peace we can have when we listen to “Spirit” that resides in each of our being. Find your peace! Incline your ear to listen to your inner voice – “Spirit is always talking”.
So, breathe deeply! Close your eyes and visualize something that brings you back into homeostasis with your soul expression. May today bring you a sense of peace, joy, and moments of feeling loved and validated for who you are and what you are gifting humanity.
