He’s Got the Whole World In His Hands-

He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands

I had to make this connection to my souls journey today as I see what is going on in the world! As I watch people live in their pain bodies, I realize how fragile and unconnected we are with one another! I realize how the journey for my people has not changed since the days of slavery. The strength and fortitude of our forefathers and foremothers, has poured elements into our souls that have given us the ability to stay the course to freedom and equality! There is the saying “ How long dear God, how long?” We are still enslaved to the terror of racism, economic inequality, mis-education, the criminal system and self-hatred because if no one thinks us to be worthy of love, how can we then see ourselves as being lovable?

When I sit and listen to these voices of my ancestors, I know who I am! I know who I belong to! I know what I am capable of! I know I am love, grace, beauty and intelligence! I see the God within my soul and I can see the God within the souls of our collective humanity, even when others cannot see it in themselves or in others! It might be asleep or dormant, but it can be awaken! We as a people of the human race were given everything our souls needed from before our earthly arrival! The question now is, how do we awaken from our slumber and what can we do for others to awaken them to their divine soul expressions! How do we nurture, guide, and protect the beauty of a child’s soul so that it never falls asleep?  If you have answers to these questions that are rising from my heart, please share!!!

Allowing-

Allowing:

Children know how to “Allow” life to flow and how to let go!

Just a thought about -“Allowing”.

Bottom line is to practice the principles of “allowing” and non-resistance (this does not mean we don’t stand up, show up and speak out) because by the time they figure out that no one cares or is intimidated by their “out of control egomania” time has released Karma and “this situation too shall pass”!! This status of allowing gives God the space to intercede and take control.

Right now the entire world affairs, systems, institutions, governments, people in control (over foolishness) as well as those human beings that are asleep in their lives, are out of alignment with God’s divine right order. It has to play itself out. But be not afraid, disillusioned, or dishearten, “God is ultimately in control and like ever good parent He just let’s us have full expression of our free will and determination and then out of no where with His guidance and support the people that are awake and know what is “true, real, just, step up and bring in the light that illuminates the world with God’s grace, mercy, and expectations for a better world life experience for all! Humanity is re-birthed and rises up!

Remember “allowing”, does not mean we sit down and not participate and engage in our families, communities and in ways that we can show love, interest, compassion and responsiveness where it is needed.  Allowing does mean that we don’t have to sit in a state of fear and be paralyzed in living our life completely.

We have to:
Stay awake
Stay in integrity
Speak our truth
Show compassion
Live peace
Carry joy
Demonstrate love, patience and understanding
Stay faithful

Women Stepping Into Their Power-Answering the “Call”.

The Power of the Mother Divine Lies Within Each of Us.

This is the bottom line! We as women working together will not just try to change the world, we will change the world! We as women were given a sacred and divine destiny to usher in humanity, but it only begins with birthing spirits into the world.

Collectively we have a responsibility to speak truth, stand for truth and teach our children truth! We have a responsibility to bring peace into the world’s reality for all mankind. We have a responsibility to engulf and drench the world with love, compassion and grace! Our people should not be homeless.

Our children should not be illiterate! Our children should not be taunted by or subjected to violence that robs them of their life and freedom of childhood and their youth! Our fellow citizens should all be reaching their full potential so as to endow the world with the gifts they have been given to share!

We are the keepers of humanity. We don’t have time to be involved or consumed by any distraction or station in life that would prevent us from not fulfilling the charge God has given us as women!

We are being challenged by the conditions that have been put into play by those that are void of the consciousness of their souls! The time is now! We must come into full expression of who we are and what we must do!

It’s on my brothers and sisters, there’s no turning back! Women of all colors and all different worlds will answer the “Call”!

Answering the “Call”.

One Race-the Human Race:

On this Palm Sunday which coincides with the beginning of Passover, I can’t but think how significant this time is in terms of our human condition. In a world where we see political divides, racial divides, and religious divides, is there anything we can say or do to redesign our human fabric that will bring us into alignment with one another? I was reflecting on the contributions that African Americans have made historically in the context of the American culture, when it made me realize how inner connected we are to each other. America is made of people that represents the ethnicity and cultures of the world and each of us has in some way hosted a thread of the American fabric.

Whatever negative and or racist comments are being targeted towards anyone or anything people are fearful of or threatened by such as Black-Hispanic-Asian-Natives-LBGTQIA+, different religions as well, it becomes a distraction from truth and righteousness. I am an African American that is deliciously flavored with a multitude of other ethnicities that go into making me who I am and gifts me with the lens I have to view the world.

I believe this is the time to lift up and take ownership of the cultural beauty and historical contributions of each of our rich and ancient cultures. Our children have a right to know from whence they come. The more exposure we have and opportunities we have to respect, honor and appreciate each other’s culture, history and contributions to humanity, the more possibilities for us to realize acknowledge and stand in support of each other as one race- the human race. I thank God not only for my parents, but for who they were and what they stood for as individuals and as a “parent team”. I want to thank them for showing me how to honor and respect my divers heritage which has enriched my life and my perspective of what it means to be a citizen of the world. We are all divine emanations of ” Great Spirit”! The corruption of that divinity in us comes when we succumb to the dark shadows and step out of His sacred light! But there is always compassion, grace and forgiveness! It has to be our choosing. I choose unconditional love as my staff and my rod by which to live my life. What do you choose?

📌 Dalai Lama Quotes: On February 25, 2014 I had the pleasure and honor of hearing the Dalai Lama share his wisdom with us on what we need to be in the world. These are my reflections to his wisdom.

Date: February 25, 2014

Subject: Dalai Lama Quotes

1. Be kind whenever possible.

1a. (Beth Evans adds: This involves practicing being your highest self which is a life long discipline and promotes mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well being.)

2. In the practice of tolerance one’s enemy is the best teacher.

2a. ( I have an aversion to the word tolerance as being a misfit in terms of the divinity of the human design. I think that compassion for those that live in a space that is not their highest expression and puts them at odds with other fellow “human beings” requires us to step away from fear and judgement and respond with compassion and to hold an intention for them that they release their fear and sense of “not being enough” and embrace the fullness of being loved and accepted for who they have the potential of showing up as”. This is the practice of “allowing”.

3. Love and compassion are necessities not luxuries, without them humanity cannot survive.

3a. (Beth Evans adds: Cultivating humanity in ourselves and supporting it in the growth and development of others is really our divine purpose. The tools of love and compassion not only support humanity on a global level, but leads to a happy and enriched life for those that utilize these tools on a daily basis!)

4. We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves.

4a. Beth Evans adds: Peace is a state of mind that wells up inside of us and gives us the ability to live in the present

5. In order to carry a positive action we must develop here a positive vision.

5a.When we carry a positive attitude and identity, we create a positive environment and responses with infinite possibilities for goodness.

6. I am just one human being.

6a. (Beth Evans adds: But imagine that your potential to create beauty, love, joy, peace, justice, compassion, and live a life of integrity is only defined by what you can imagine and commit to manifesting-you could positively impact the world and fulfill your divine purpose!)

7. The roots of all goodness lie in the soil of appreciation for goodness.

7a. We are born into this world as “goodness”  being the identity of our souls. Our roots grow deep throughout  our lives.

8. Our prime purpose in this life is to help others.

8a. And if you can’t help them at least don’t hurt them.

9. If you want others to be happy practice compassion.

9a. You must first be compassionate and gentle with yourself in order to know how to be compassionate and gentle with others.

10. The best way to resolve any problem in the human world is for all sides to sit down and talk.

10a. (Beth Evans adds: The art of talking or communicating involves listening attentively with an open and receptive mind. The art of communicating successfully is one of the greatest gifts in the human design. Once activated respect, understanding and compromise come into play which promotes resolution and positive relationships.

11. When you practice gratefulness there is a sense of respect toward others.

11a.We must live our lives from a place of gratitude in order to see the blessings we have received.

Reflections on the Radio Session with Les Brown Talk Radio Show 980 AM

I really wanted to blog to you last night, but we are fine tuning our Heart4Kids theme song and the rehearsal went late into the night. I am so excited about this song and our prayer is that it will go around the world and touch everyone’s heart. We will upload it on the Website when we have the finished product. Once again I had a great time participating on the Les Brown Show. The topic he chose was “How Do You Build Self Esteem in your Children”. . He encouraged parents to call in and share what they were doing to develop self-esteem in their children. This is such an important topic so much so that in my book “Embracing the Gift of Parenthood” I thread the essence of this throughout the fabric of each chapter in different angles. It really speaks to how by loving ourselves and showing our children what that looks like, we model loving one’s self. It also speaks to showing our children that we love them and that they are worthy of being loved. I am going to come back to this discussion and go into it in a more expansive conversation. I know that this will come up in our seminar on Friday, July 22, 2011. I hope you will join us! Check into the website and RSVP (heart4kids@hotmail.com or call 310-422-0766. This is the first of the 12 part series of our seminars on “Parenting from the Heart”.

Parenting Habits that Get on my Nerves!

16041705-facd-4fc7-b843-bfc7dd09d6fd

Leilani takes being a mother of her three children very seriously.

A Parenting Habit that Get on My Nerves!

One of the things that really bothers me, is when a parent is crossing the street and is busy on their cell phone having a conversation and not even holding their child’s hand. I really want to jump out of my car and confront them, but instead I gently honk my horn just enough to get their attention but not frighten the child. I put an expression on my face that shouts, ” Hey! grab your child’s hands before they get killed by a car!!” We have to be present for our children! That is what it is to be a parent! It is not easy to be “on” all the time, but we have to be the “watch keepers” it’s our job! We have so little control over so much, we have to be awake and on call for the things we can be in control of. It is a lot of work and that’s why if you are going to be a parent you must realize that you are entering into a life time “Covenant” with your child.
