I’m Just Sayin- #150- Empathy – A Symphony of the Heart!
May each day I rise be an opportunity for me to be a light of empathy and unconditional love for someone in need.

Empathy:
An intention to live a life that is capable of seeing people and accepting people and the circumstances of their life’s journey for who they are and standing on the principle of empathy is a gift with in itself. Empathy can lead to action and resourceful understanding that can bring about change. Sympathy is ego stepping forward and emitting pride and judgment.
It cripples and is motionless or takes over to bring about satisfaction not for the individual who is engulfed in the challenging experience but for the person who is outside the experience oblivious to what is really showing up that can give them insight and wisdom. Empathy is drawn from the soul not the mind. It awakens our ability to feel and take hold of our own humanity. Daily I pray “that my eyes may be opened so that I may see, visions of what humanity can be. Rise up in me oh empathy so I can be a part of the miracle that awakening can be.”
Children operate from a place of empathy innately and organically. It is something that rises up in them. I think we get confused and try to teach children to be sympathetic instead of recognizing their ability to be empathetic and nurturing that instinct in them. We have so much to learn from them.
They respond to the world in their natural authentic selves. They see and know who needs someone to touch their heart with empathy and compassion. They are void of the filters and restraints of “being grown up”, aren’t they lucky!!! All this to say- we have the potential of giving and receiving empathy from each other, because it is embedded in “LOVE”.

The Power of the Mother Divine Lies Within Each of Us.
This is the bottom line! We as women working together, will not just try to change the world, we will change the world! We as women were given a sacred and divine destiny to usher in humanity, but it begins with some of us birthing spirits into the world and for all of us nurturing those precious spirits with the Mother Divine that resides in each of us.
Collectively we have a responsibility to speak truth, stand for truth and teach our children truth! We have a responsibility to bring peace into the world’s reality for all mankind. We have a responsibility to engulf and drench the world with love, compassion and grace! Our people should not be homeless and without a “Village” to support their lives.
Our children should not be illiterate! Our children should not be taunted by or subjected to violence that robs them of their life and freedom of childhood and their youth! Our fellow citizens should all be reaching their full potential so as to endow the world with the gifts they have been given to share!
We are the keepers of humanity. We don’t have time to be involved or consumed by any distraction or station in life that would prevent us from not fulfilling the charge that “The One Source”-Our Creator”-“God” has given us as women!
We are being challenged by the conditions that have been put into play by those that are void of the consciousness of their souls! The time is now! We must come into full expression of who we are and what we must do!
It’s on my brothers and sisters, there’s no turning back! Women of all colors and from all the corners of the world will answer the “Call”! And there will be men who have a consciousness about the value and respect for who and what women have the endowment to do that will be our allies and support “The Call”!
Are you willing to “Answer the “Call”?

I’m Just Sayin # 146-What’s Love Got to Do With It? Absolutely Everything! Cause Without Love-What? Part One and Part Two

We are all part of the ebb and flow of life and interconnected to each other. Our ancestors reflect the strength of the branches and we as the ever-changing leaves that grow and blossom from those branches, reflecting their hope and faith in the future. It is their understanding of love that they hold in their Spirit form that is nurturing and sustaining us while we are both flesh and spirit. Thanks to Niki who took this beautiful picture. It was perfect.
Love is the first ingredient of our soul. Love is the combination of all the elements that are needed to complete the essence of our human design. There are references of “love” in all religious and spiritual writings for a reason.
Love in the Christian faith believes:
1 Corinthians 13:2 says:
And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 says:
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
Love in the Islam Faith believes:
Love has to be enlightened. A sacred love is the love which is realistic and insightful.
Love in the Buddhist faith believes:
Love is a gift of one’s inner most soul to another so both can be whole.
If you truly loved yourself, you could never hurt another.
True love is born from understanding.
Love the whole world as a mother loves her only child.
Teach this triple truth to all. A generous heart, kind speech, and a life of service and compassion are the things which renew humanity.
Love in the Hindu (Bhakti Yoga) faith believes:
Simple in its essence, and yet powerful in its application, and taken from the roots of Bhakti yoga, these basic love-laws can easily
Law of Attraction:

Law of Reciprocation:

There are so many other faiths and constructs that have identified “what love is” that I don’t in this blog have the time to explore and share, but the basics of my stream of consciousness today is to share with you my thoughts on “LOVE”!
Part Two:
I can’t begin to express how important love is not just to me in my life experience, but what I feel Spirit is trying to reveal to us as human beings, on how it is not just vital to our existence as individuals, but to the sustainability of this planet and humanity. We come into this world wrapped in love from when we were in our mother’s womb. We were conceived in the heart and soul of the Divine Spirit from whence we came. In the beginning it is the totality of who we were designed to be. It is not a simple process and there is so much involved in not just the creation of love but the nurturing and sustaining the richness and fullness of the divinity of love.
Love is the foundation of what makes us human. Love embodies compassion, respect, patience, and is in its truest sense, holistic and unconditional. It is as important to our well-being, as water, air and food. Love is the food of the soul. Love is the breath of our spiritual life. Love is the fluidity that allows expansion of our expression of oneness to and for each other. In each of our lifetimes we are capable of embracing so much love that there is always room for more.
Be love! Give Love! Embrace being loved! Fill your cup and let it overflow! Let it overflow with Love! Do you realize the potential we have to shift the vibration of our planet back into what beauty and richness it once had, by showering each other with “Love”. Our collective consciousness is powerful beyond measure. We can save our humanity and our planet. The last thing our sister said to us as she transition was, “If you could see what I see! If you knew what I now know, you would know that all there really is –is LOVE!

This is short and to the point. As I observed the events of the week in America and across the planet, I know that “Enough is Enough”! We have to rally a call for all women that are “Woke” and conscious of the injustices that are being perpetrated as crimes against humanity, cannot continue.
There are those of our gender that have fallen into the trap of not realizing who they are and the divine purpose of “Who Women are to be in the fabric of our humanity has escaped their memory and knowingness. They have lost sight of their divinity and how Great Spirit has endowed them with the ability to be the ‘Change Agents” that the world needs to heal humanity.
We don’t have time to “sit this one out”. We don’t have time to contemplate “if” we want to speak up and show up to usher in a better world for our children”! We don’t have a choice. We cannot run and hide from our responsibility to fulfill our “Divine Identity and Purpose”! We have to go to work!!! Time is of essence!!! It’s our time and it is not the first time in the history of mankind that women were in positions of authority and had the responsibility of a nation of people. Get Up and do your thing LADIES! Find your allies and stand tall and firm on your platform for “Change”!

I’m Just Sayin-#142-Giving: Is Extending Ourselves Unconditionally Through Love and Caring for Others-
The amazing thing about who we have the potential of being is that we were designed to have the capacity to hold and share unlimited “Agape Love”! “Agape Love” is the highest form of love! It is unconditional, selfless, and can be interpreted as sacrificial. I believe that when we give this kind of love to one another it is not sacrificial, it is a “soul gift shared”!

There is a real art to giving. It can be done consciously and intentionally or unconsciously and naturally. There is no judgment on which motivation for giving is better. We vacillate between the two art styles depending on where we are in our human emotions and consciousness at the time of being engaged in the act of giving. The simple truth about giving is that it symbolizes caring. It is in fact an act of loving. Think of it as “sharing is caring”. When we give we are sharing a beautiful part of our soul essence. When we share we are allowing ourselves to be vulnerable and open to receiving the beauty and sense of what it feels like to extend ourselves to another person. When we care enough to share our love by giving to others, we are fed feelings of love and being capable of being loved for sharing the generosity of our own humanity.
The feelings that weld up in our soul from caring and sharing with others, is the essence of the real-life experiences that keep our soul light alive and vibrant. That is one of the actions along our own personal journey that moves us forward with energy and with an amazing high vibrational response. This is the path to filling what we might feel is missing in our lives. This is one of the major reasons for our existence, to give and to receive from one another. This act of love through sharing, allows our ability to love and be loved to expand and evolve. This is more proof that the “Me, Myself, and I” way of life will never bring us peace, love, joy, gratitude, or contentment. We cannot find these essentials in life without giving.
Let the light of our willingness to give unconditionally to others, radiate in a way that it illuminates all the spaces of darkness, disillusion, and doubt that others might be carrying in their daily lives.

This blog is being dedicated to my sister Lark E. Galloway-Gilliam, who spent her life advocating for health equity for communities and women of color. The Beauty of Life- “WE, the collective humanity of women, see you and we will advocate for you!
I was so blessed to have witnessed the beautiful experience of my niece’s pregnancy and birthing of our Aoluna outside of the confines of so call traditional conventional medical hospital experience. Leilani chose very intentionally to have a Mid-Wife and Doula as her way of bringing her daughter into this worldly plain.
She did her research and Great Spirit brought just the most perfect person and organization to do this “Big Work” of supporting her pregnancy and childbirth experience. If you had a chance to read my previous Blog on her experience with the doctor’s office, then you know how disappointed Lei and our family was on the indifference and lack of connection and concern that was shown for her and her baby.
This was an answer to our prayers and an answer to Leilani’s intentions and conviction she had to manifest the right people and right situation that would support this highly spiritual ritualistic journey.
It is an amazing to finally feel as a Black female and mother through this experience that there are sacred spaces where we are not invisible. In our larger American culture and society, we are the “Visibly Invisible”. Our mortality as Black women and Black infants is off the chart! In this day and age, I don’t understand why our women are given such lack of concern and interest. Overall, the CDC statistics for 2024 was U.S. maternal mortality was at 17.9 per 100.000 live births while Black mothers were 44.8 deaths per 100.000, White mothers were 14.2, Hispanic mothers were 12.1 deaths, and Asian mothers were 18.1 deaths.
You would think in terms of at least the medical system there would be some allegiance to providing health care for a mother regardless of the color of her skin. There is a real problem in this country that festers in racism that is still played out. I really admire organizations like “Sugarheal Gang, which works in concert with Black Maternity Healthcare Fund. These are the organizations that showed up for Leilani and Setelo her husband to not only bring her baby safely into this world but continued to be a community of health and care for she and the baby after the birth.
Can you imagine the difference in the health and welfare of our children if they have a healthy start to grow in from the womb to birth and are not traumatized but are received within the sacred space of ritual and love.
Can you imagine what a great beginning it is for a mother to have not only the emotional support of a partner and family, but to have someone with a medical knowledge and spiritual intuition to be in relationship with as your midwife?
Our Grandmother was a Mid-Wife, and my sister Patty is a Doula. We must celebrate the strength, intuition and tenacity that a mother must have to bring life into this world. We as woman of compassionate spirits have work to do!
In Closure to this Blog I want to highlight that –
We women of color do not have to be “The Visibly Invisible”. We are visible to Great Spirit who holds the truth of who we are and how valuable and precious we are. We must empower each other to stand in our truth of who we know ourselves to be. We are manifestations of Great Spirit, in it’s origin design for humanity. We have purpose! We are divine! We represent the depths of “Mother Earth’s” spiritual intuition. We must take hold of it and use it for ourselves and ignite it in others. We must form communities of support like we had in our tribal days of old.

The time has come! The “Call” has been sent out. God wants those incarcerated in detention houses of evil set free. God wants the madness of racism and nationalism to be cast out of our humanity. God wants this planet to be shared with everyone without borders that institute genocide and hate. There is no space for hatred to exist in a world intended to be loving, compassionate, and just. There is no room in our humanity for the evils that assault people because of the color of their skin, the language they speak, or their station in a discriminating system of government.
This world does not belong to us! It was a gift and if we continue in this direction of allowing greed for wealth and mythical power to overshadow the divined purpose that was intended by our “Creator”- “The One Source”- “Great Spirit”, we shall be subject to the destain of all that holds us accountable.
There is no one savior that is going to come and do what Moses did. That was in God’s old playbook and what is being called for in today’s chaotic destructive world is for all of us that hold on to the principles and practices of the “Christ Spirit” to rise up and be a “Moses”.
This is a “Call” for everyone that still is in alignment with the divinity of their soul essence. This is a “Call” for righteous indignation to push each of us forward in finding our own way to “Action”! We each have a part to play. Our “Creator” did not send us here empty handed. Our Creator was well aware of the fragility and imperfections that can take hold of us and throw us out of alignment with our divinity.
At the same time our “Creator” knows what power for love and compassion exist within our soul’s design and how we can rise to meet evil face to face and not falter or get shaken from our destiny. WE were meant to be “One in the Spirit” as a collective humanity vibrating constantly into spiritual awakening and enlightenment.
We were not purposed in our authentic selves to be ridden and absorbed into crime, corruption, perpetrating injustices, or causing harm even death to acquire favor in a “Material world”. WE were meant to stand on higher ground as a collective, equal in every aspect of our divine design.
Being in a state that calls anyone to “Step outside of themselves” is not sustainable and will only implode upon them. What we are experiencing in this country right now is a “Call to fight for our Souls”. It is beyond serious, and it will eventually come for every one of us. So, get ready! Be ready! Do your part as a “Moses” to stand against the “Pharaohs” of this world to secure the birthright of freedom for all of humanity.
It’s an age-old story, this fight for freedom. My ancestors read the ageless stories in the bible. My ancestors wrote the songs about freedom and sang those songs in the fields and when they cuddled white children at their breast.
My ancestors had to be tenacious and courageous like Moses to secure their freedom in this country and around the world after being taken from our Motherland. We can all be the Moses spiritual energy that sets our undocumented, our poor, our underserved, our multitude of ethnicities that are marginalized and abused FREE. We can secure the safety and wellbeing of our children in a world that is compassionate, just, and sustainable. WE can reach that mountain top that Martin envisioned. They will know who we are by the power of our love and the beauty of our souls.

He’s Got the Whole World In HisHands-But We Still Have To Do Our Part!
The beauty of a Child’s perspective is that the world is a mystery to explore and learn. They don’t see borders they see possibilities!

I’m Just Sayin that-
I had to make this connection to my soul’s journey today as I see what is going on in the world! As I watch people live in their pain bodies, I realize how fragile and unconnected we are with one another! I realize how the journey for my people has not changed since the days of slavery. The strength and fortitude of our forefathers and foremothers, has poured elements into our souls that have given us the ability to stay the course to freedom and equality!
There is the saying “How long dear God, how long?” We are still enslaved to the terror of racism, economic inequality, miseducation, the criminal system and self-hatred because if no one thinks us to be worthy of love, how can we then see ourselves as being lovable?
When I sit and listen to these voices of my ancestors, I know who I am! I know who I belong to! I know what I am capable of! I know I am love, grace, beauty and intelligence! I see the God within my soul, and I can see the God within the souls of our collective humanity, even when others cannot see it in themselves or in others! It might be asleep or dormant, but it can be awakened!
I know that some people will think that what I am professing about my belief that ultimately, “The One Source of all Creation”, is not just watching how humanity struggles with good and evil, but is using you and me to intercede where and when we can to be a voice of reason! A voice of compassionate love! A voice of peace and good will to all of our humanity, the other inhabitants of this planet, as well as the gift of this planet to sustain all life matter.
We as a people of the human race were given everything our souls needed from before our earthly arrival! The question now is, how do we awaken from our slumber and what can we do for others to awaken them to their divine soul expressions! How do we nurture, guide, and protect the beauty of a child’s soul so that it never falls asleep? If you have answers to these questions that are rising from my heart, please share!!!

I’m Just Sayin-No! Why? Because… Nurturing and Guiding the Curious Mind and Behavior of a Child- #131
Setting Boundaries to Help Children Feel a Sense of Safety and Freedom at the Same Time.
Uncle Markey is a “Key player” in Niki’s life to this day!
Remember-It is not just the responsibility of parents to guide and nurture our children- There has to be a village of extended family, friends, and a community of respectful, ethical, loving, and compassionate people that chose to be part of a child’s life!

What we are really trying to do for and with children, is to guide them into an understanding that they must learn to make choices and decisions that will allow them to explore their world and at the same time keep them and others safe and secure. This period in their early life sets them up for the big challenges that will confront them in puberty and young adulthood and then impact all the decisional actions they make throughout their adult lives.
There is so much trial and error involved in this arena of learning. So much of what must transpire between parents and their children is founded on their style(s) of communication with each of their children. There will inevitably be different styles of communication to meet the unique character of each of your children.
There has to be continuity in the boundaries and expected behavior, but how that is interpreted and communicated will vary. In other words-what works with my child X, will not in this instance work with my child Y. It takes a lot of observation and forethought on designing how you are going to help guide your child into understanding the “No” Why? Because” of in life.
It is not realistic for a child to think that the word “No” does not apply to them under certain circumstances. The important part of saying “No” to a child is to follow up with the “Why… and “Because…” so that we give them an understanding that there are reasons we make certain decisions.
We want to encourage the curious minds that they were born with. It is important to never kill that genius or invalidate the things they encounter and try out stemming from their curiosity and sense of exploration. We are to guide them through this element of their development that will set the stage of how and why they make decisions throughout their life. We want them to be free within the boundaries that nature sets for them.
I believe in telling children about consequences and allowing the time and space to explore how consequences can affect their well-being, and the well-being of others. Learning that our actions and decisions can have an impact on not just “me, myself and I”. This also sets the stage for exploring how we are inner connected to one another. They begin to become part of humanity. They don’t understand what it means but there is a feeling that begins to grow and we must feed it with experiences where we call it to their attention.
We want to guide them to the understanding that there is responsibility connected to freedom of expression. It is a long journey into this perspective on life, but what it affords not just the individual, but our humanity as a whole is priceless! It is what sustains, enriches, and fortifies our highest selves.
Our Motto- as a parent and givers of care and guidance to a child- I want to “Let Freedom Ring”- Within the understanding that ” There are consequences for my decisions”!
So, breathe deeply! Close your eyes and visualize something that brings you back into homeostasis with your soul expression. May today bring you a sense of peace, joy, and moments of feeling loved and validated for who you are and what you are gifting humanity.

Standing on the promises of God! The killing and hate in our world today: It is not a holy war! It is Spiritual warfare! People it is about the evils of:
📍Separation from God
📍Ignorance
📍Greed
📍Ethnocentrism
📍Racial supremacy
📍Poverty
📍Hunger for food to nourish both body and soul
📍Disenfranchisement
📍Mental and emotional illness
📍Fear of loss of something that is impossible to hold on to anyway!
📍Righteous indignation
📍Isolation
📍Alternative facts and truth
📍Me-Myself-and I syndrome
📍Soulless beings that have forfeited the divine purpose of their earthly existence!
📍Ideology that we are no longer “our brother’s keeper”
Satan might be having a field day right now, but as soon as we figure out that ultimately God is in charge and that love, peace, and that the gift of life is in it’s self God’s power within us, we will rise up with wings of angels and reclaim this earth and all that God has endowed humanity with and evil will diminish until all there is -is God! Yes- God is love and all there is is God! And all there really is is -Love!
Wake up in your life and help to usher in that love-
Speak truth and ethics!
Speak love and respect!
Speak compassion and patience!
Speak it and be it and the vibration that each of us resound will reverberate globally and shift the current that is destroying our planet and deconstructing the divinity of our souls!
