You Have to Know That You Are Not Just Enough- You Are More Than Enough!

See what I mean?  See how confidently she gets into achieving what she wants.

How many of us struggle trying to feel a sense of worthiness as we muddle through our life experiences?  We meet and interact with people, and I think perhaps many of us check ourselves out to see if people are responding to us positively, negatively, or indifferently. We question if we are good enough and if we are worthy of the fortuitous things and blessings that come our way.

I don’t know how it happens that we forget that person we were as children.  We were raw and we were not in the least bit concerned that we might not be perfection.  We went around feeling like there was nothing we could not do.  We traveled the world in our imaginary play.  We made up our own language and had no problem playing different roles from superheroes to beautiful princesses.  We were free!  We were ourselves! We enjoyed being ourselves.  We loved ourselves and we made ourselves happy.  We knew when we needed a hug and a kiss from our parents, and we had no problem asking for what we needed.  We did not second guess ourselves and we knew that we were special.  Our loved ones validated us, and we faced the world with that confidence that we were “Enough- in fact we knew we were more than enough”.

Then it happens! What happens exactly and how it happens, I don’t know because it happens at different ages and stages in our life’s.   I don’t know if it is one singular traumatic event or mini events that infuse themselves into our life and rob us of our self-worth and divine identities. We came to this earthly plane as complete packages.  We just needed for our loved ones to recognize how divinely magnificent we were and commit to nurturing and protecting us from the negative forces that try to impede our blossoming and unfolding.

I know that it is important for us to have a remembering of our soul identity so that we can re-connect with who we are supposed to be in this lifetime.  We have to remember what it felt like when we knew ourselves- our authentic-organic- divine-selves.  We must believe and trust our instincts -that knowingness that we have stored in the shadows of our minds that holds the “worthiness keys” that we need to unlock our path back to responding to the world with confidence and self-worth.

Know that you are and always have been “Enough – in fact you are more than enough”!
