I Must Find My Own Peace and My Own Joy! It Lies Within! Voiced
Happy Birthday Wishes and Blessings Celio!
This blog was written on Celio’s 9th birthday. Today is Celio’s 14th Birthday and as “Spirit would have it I was called to give voice to this blog again today. Celio is Joy! Celio is Peace! Celio is Contentment! Celio is Gratitude! We not only learn from our children, but they also keep us in check with what is really important and valuable in life. Thanks, Celio for choosing us as your family.

There is joy all around us, we just have to set an intention to look for it and embrace it. We have the inner power to attract the wholeness and peace that resides in joy.
There is a difference between looking for others to make us happy and finding the joy that people bring into our lives. We are responsible for finding the peace and joy that was part of our divine design from infancy. We giggled! We blew bubbles with our saliva! We could find absolute joy in the simplest things- the sound of a familiar voice, the smile of a tender heart, the gentle touch of a caring parent or family member, playing on our own amusing ourselves in our environment or just gazing at things that captivated our attention and set our curiosity and senses into action.
Without a doubt there were times we needed engagement to be happy, but there were also those times that being with ourselves was enough. Was it that we innately loved ourselves and were capable of making ourselves happy and content? This is a gift in our design that we need to hold fast to.
The very idea that we are enough is in its self an amazing attribute to face the world with. If we can hold on to the “who” we were when we knew how to be in a state of peace, joy, contentment, and gratitude, we would truly live lives that would keep us healthy physically, emotionally and spiritually. This does not mean that we live in a constant state of joy and peace! There has to be the contrast in the human experience.
The important aspect of this is to be able to have a balance and to know how to pull ourselves into our joy, peace, and wholeness, when it is needed. Children for the most part know how to navigate this balance. They don’t complicate their being in the world with holding on to things that initiate pain and discord in their life. We are the ones who model this behavior for them.
I think my work and play with children is what has brought me my greatest experiences of joy. Thank you, my Niki! They keep me in touch with the “child” that lives within my soul. It is in each of us. I do believe that our connection to children offers us the ability to reconnect with that vibration of joy!
So, although no one is responsible for us as adults to make us happy, we as adults are responsible for safeguarding joy, peace and contentment in the lives of our children- not just our biological children- but our children in and of our humanity on a global scale. Tap into your joy! Tap into your peace! Be in your contentment as much and as often as you can. It is in each of us!
So, breathe deeply! Close your eyes and visualize something that brings you back into homeostasis with your soul expression. May today bring you a sense of peace, joy, and moments of feeling loved and validated for who you are and what you are gifting humanity.
Ashé! Have a Blessed Day!
**Note: These recordings are based on my blog writings, and all of this comes through Spirit. The recordings are a reflection of the writings and are not edited because I do not want to alter what is coming to me through “Great Spirit”. I am not seeking perfection, only serving as a vessel to bring love, peace, and joy, to our humanity.
Thank You Jim Brickman for your beautiful music that vibrates through this recording. This is a selection from his album – “Music to Quiet Your Mind and Sooth Your World”.
