Do you want to be happy?
Let go of what’s gone,
Be grateful for what remains and
Look forward to what is coming

We can’t see what lies ahead, but if we keep on going
There is a destiny of greatness waiting for us just beyond the horizon! Picture taken for me by my daughter Nicole in South Carolina!
I think these words are so profound and wise to live by as we navigate trying to be happy and fulfilled in our lives. It is such a feeling of liberation when we can move past the things that hold us captive in situations or with people that don’t bring joy into our lives. We can get stuck in the muck of holding on to things that are not in our best interest. Sometimes we think it is about being safe or it begins to feel more comfortable and less problematic to just resign ourselves to not making the effort to accept the things we cannot change and change the things we have the energy and interest in changing. We of course have to realize that we only have the power to change ourselves or decide that what we need to change is in our infinity to sell ourselves short of the happiness we deserve.
We must be able to process through the events in our life that cause us pause. We must be willing and able to release those things that have passed through us and be able to accept that they were not meant to be permanently engrained experiences or people in our life. By letting go we allow ourselves to be present and available for what has remained in our life that is alignment with who we are and what we need in our life. We must live in a space of gratitude so that we never lose sight of the importance and value of the events that transpired in our life that has given our life substance. These are jewels that are relevant to our sense of happiness, contentment, and wholeness. It is as important to relish and be appreciative and grateful for the people in our life that are there for us. Their presence in our life expression is a reciprocal relationship.
When we are wise enough and awake enough to release what should only pass through us, and grateful and humble enough to give thanks for those things and people that are part of our life experience, we have an opportunity to share our joy. We are confident and brave enough to step into our future and take hold of the promises that are awaiting us. Nothing can deter us from being excited and hopeful about our adventure into the unknown. Trust me, all that we have had happened in our life and all that we have shifted through to allow us to hold on to only that which is in divine right order, can for prepare us for what is to come next. The beauty of all of this is that our future is as close as the next breath we take. So, breathe and step into the “New Day” of your life. Find your life expression that’s waiting for you to re-discover!
It is a magical gift!
