Let me start off by saying that this blog represents my utter upset over the condition of our planet. At the same time let me reiterate that I am a woman of deep and abiding Faith in God and our humanity, and I know that this is a “World without end”, so that we will with our collective humanity of love, peace, and compassion, become who we were designed to be by our Creator!

I had been looking at the news, ever so briefly, because I really can’t let the drama, destruction, and constant ‘bad news”, engulf my sense of sanity and peace. But this global plague first Covid and now the war in Ukraine has got my senses on high alert. I know there is war and fighting all over the world and I am fed up with it. I am so tired of our behavior that causes us to kill each other over greed and power. I got to a point that I broke out in prayer, like I have never prayed before. I didn’t know what was happening, but I felt like I was out of my body. The prayer rolled off my tongue as if a spirit from in my soul was pouring out of me. God and I were in a “deep talk” an “Indaba”!

I called out to “Great Spirit” to “Show Up and Show Out”! I shared with Him that the world could no longer function like this and He alone at this point would have to take over and get this mess straightened out. I told “Great Spirit”, that this had to be done in the “Now”. I called on “Great Spirit” to rid mankind of the Spirit of Greed, Lust, and Power grab. I explained that I appreciated all the patience, mercy, grace, forgiveness, and love He had invested in us, but now like all good parents, it was time for Him to put His foot down and not allow us to continue to self-destruct. I told “Great Spirit” that I know how powerful, accessible He is and that I had confidence in His infinite wisdom and intelligence to resolve this flaw in who we had evolved to.

I have set an intention that I would like everyone I know and those I don’t know but have read my thoughts, to join me and extend the invitation to others to go into a pray vigil for the world. Our mantra is simply “Let there be Peace on Earth”! I bought a circular candle that is like a stain glass design. The circular shape represents the world. The array of colors represents the colors of our humanity.

I am burning this candle and praying everyday without ceasing. I wonder what would happen if all of us set an intention for peace, love, and justice in all our dealings on earth? Are you with me?
