Friendship A Jewel in the Soul’s Desire

True Friendship Can Ride the Waves in Our Life-
So grateful to the person that caught this wave!

Friendship is something I take very seriously. I am very picky and very protective of the people that I consider to be my friend. I treasure my friends and the love and concern we share with each other. I don’t have to see them every day or hear from them constantly, to feel their presence in my life. I believe that friendships must have a foundation of trust, respect, love, and endurance. It is not something we enter into on a whim or convenience. It is something that is formulated if it is right, on an emotional-spiritual sixth sense. A feeling welds up in your spirit and you begin to feel at home in relationship to the person. There will seem to be a nuisance of not being strangers at all. You feel happy and safe in their presence. You get excited when you hear their voice over the phone or zoom a face to face. There are times that you are doing something that reminds you of a particular friend and the thought of them passes through your mind and you find yourself smiling or even chuckling to yourself.

The other special thing about friends is that those that reach the category as “real” friends, have a special connection with you. “Real “friends can feel your vibration even when they are not in your presence. They can sense when you need them. All of a sudden you come up in their heart or up in their mind and there is a knowingness that you need them to reach out. I am so blessed to have so many wonderful friends around the globe from all walks of life. I am blessed to have had students that became my friends, and they are still holding a place in my heart. I am blessed to have siblings that are my friend, especially my sister Patty. I am the eldest and she is the youngest among the 5 children in our family tribe. I am blessed to have cousins that I consider to be my special friends. I pray they all know how I value the gift of friendship and how I treasure our relationship.

That saying, –
“Make new friends but keep the old. One is sliver and the other gold”!
This is so true. I often reminisce about my friends from childhood and realize how unique it is to have had a relationship with you from when you were so most authentic divine identity. If you are blessed to still be in touch with some those friends, as I am, you will know what it feels like to have friendship last that long and still be earnestly loving and supportive. I want to share a couple of my favorite quotes that symbolize my feelings on friendship and why I hold it to be of such value and importance in my life. I pray that you have friends that you feel the same way about. Treasure the treasure-of Friendship!

My favorite quotes to share: Words to Live by-

“Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.” — Anais Nin

“A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.” — Walter Winchell

“It’s not what we have in life, but who we have in our life that matters.” — Unknown

“A friend is one of the best things you can be and the greatest things you can have.” — Sarah Valdez
