I’m Just Sayin-Notes from Beth #32- The Heart Language of Children-

The purity of their hearts is a treasure to behold!

In alignment with a previous blog, I wrote entitled- “No Two Children are Alike, and We Must Love, Respect, and Honor all Children for Who They are!”, I feel compelled to expand on this reflection. It hit me so strongly, that I needed to share something that was given to me by “Great Spirit”. In these times when children are living in and through one crisis after another, protecting them and the nurturing them has to be a societal priority. They are so desperately trying to communicate with us, but we speak a different language. Children speak the “Heart Language” or “Language of the Heart”! It is a universal language that all children are born in and born with. We ourselves once spoke this language fluently. If we could but hold this language in our engagements with one another, the world would look and be so very different.

The language of the “Heart” is so organic and pure. It contains no judgment, no arteria motives, no preconceptions, no distain or hatred, no malice, no camouflage of feelings, no constrictive or restrictive behavior that would deny sharing what they truthfully feel in expressing themselves, and it is clothed in truth and honesty. What happens in their societal development that causes them to retreat from this beautiful, rich, and highly spiritual language? How do we go about preserving this language in the psyche and spirit of children? How do we re-kindle this language so that we can begin to communicate with them? How can we engage in the world so that we too, speak in the “Language of the Heart”? All of this will prove to be a challenge, but we have a responsibility to our precious children to forge forward to safeguard this delicate and delightful time of their life. If we succeed, we will see the world emerge to the humanity we were destined to be.

What a wonderful opportunity to be entrusted with the responsibility of learning, communicating, and preserving the “Language of the Heart”, that children bless us with.
