Their world is full of splendor, we just get a peek at what they see!

This is the new category that I will be blogging as a support to parents. If there are topics you would want me to address, please jot me a request on my website:

My goal with these tips for parents is to support them in the social emotional development of their children-child.  Parents are the “Spirit Guides” that are responsible for guiding, nurturing, and supporting their child’s social emotional development.  It means that the modality of teaching appropriate values and socializing a child has to fit the nature of that child.  The following are the words that describe the terms of   my covenant with my child, but please feel free to choose your own. The terms of the covenant calls me to express the following with my child:

                                    Unconditional love

                                    Patience

                                    Understanding

                                    Integrity

                                    Honesty

                                    Openness

                                    Receptivity

                                    Active listening

                                    Consistency

Follow-through

                                    Respect

                                    Kindness

                                    Gentleness

Compassion

                                    Passion for learning and growing

Willingness to accept responsibility for my actions

Cause and effect- actions dictate reactions

Love and acceptance of myself and others

Parents have to live the qualities of character they want to cultivate in the personality of their child.  I will share my insight into these terms of my “Covenant” that I raised my child with.
