I can’t emphasize enough how important it is for us to live our lives from a place of “Gratitude”! It is the life force vibration that sets the stage for how we interact in the world. It impacts our perception of life and our outlook on the possibilities for our life experience. We have to on a daily basis take stock of what we have been blessed with and allow that recognition of gratitude reflect in how we show up I the world and how on a more intimate level, relate and respond to the people in our realm of daily experiences. If we start our day in a more ritualistic meditative state, where we take a moment to reflect on what we have been blessed with, it will color not only the content of our day but the texture of what we feel emotionally and spiritually.
We are working intentionally on trying to guide our grandchildren into the practice of living in a space of gratitude. We have morning chats about what we are grateful for and in the evening when we gather together for dinner, we each are asked “What was the highlight of our day”. This provides the children with a safe space to express themselves and to witness us as adults sharing our unique and special events that captivate our attention and appreciation. It is ever so important for children to learn from positive demonstrations that we use as a means of guiding and enriching their life skills and world view. We want them to be “Whole, Healthy, Happy, and Contributing human beings”. We want them to have the wherewithal to meet the challenges this world will throw at them and at the same time be wise enough to hold on to their ability to see what a blessing in their life is. It is this practice of gratitude that will sustain each of us in all aspects of our life.
Remember in your reflection that “Our ability to live our life in gratitude, elicits our attitude and our attitude projects our vibrational altitude”. We must strive to vibrate at our highest possible level.
