I usually would put a picture of children to accompany my post, but in honor and respect for the children that we’re gunned down today I just can’t! I just can’t!

The best I could do is upload a picture of children in a bronze statue!

I don’t know what to say! I don’t know what the conversation can be that would change the behavior, of not just the emotionally and psychologically ill people that have lost their souls and take the life of innocent children and people, as well as the unconscious selfish, self-consumed people in this nation that refuse to do what is necessary to protect our children.  It falls on deaf ears and hearts of stone! I can’t in any way imagine or vision an evolved so called “Civilized”, for whatever that word means in the scheme of our current chaotic and destructive behavior, being so intentionally oblivious, void of compassionate, and plain don’t give a D…! I am so sad and disturbed about yet in still another group of our children being shortchanged of their “Divine Destiny”!  Who has the right to take another person’s life? It is wrong! It is painful for the parents of those children and the family and friends that have loved and invested in that child. 

I don’t understand what it will take before today’s parents rise up and demand a change!  Demand security in every school in this country.  Demand that their legislators take immediate action to ban assault weapons and to regulate the number of guns anyone in this country should be allowed to purchase. We have to put pressure on our legislators.  We have to go before Congress!  We have to go before the Supreme Court!  We have to use our vote! We have to use economic sanctions! The only thing that speaks change in this country is “MONEY”!

We cannot afford to allow this attack on children to continue!  We are better than this!  We are too intelligent for this!  We have too many resources to allow this!  At this point I don’t think we have a choice but to make some serious decisions as parents as to whether we allow our children to be subjected to this crisis!  Not every family can Home School (out school) like us!  But we are going to have to institute some kind of emergency tactics NOW!!!

I have been writing blogs, sharing in seminars, writing books, teaching teachers, podcasting, and trying to bring to light the plight of our children here at home and abroad.  We have to take this as a “crime against humanity”!  If we don’t step up to the plate and save our children, youth, and young adults from the unfiltered and unsafe society that we have allowed to come front and center, then we as a human species is in danger of imploding and destroying ourselves and the gift of life and this planet.  We have the power to bring sanity to this world. Each of us holds a gift that can bring about change.  If not you and me, then who? Once again, I close with:

STAND UP! SPEAK UP! SHOW UP!

 BE AN AGENT OF CHANGE-BE LOVE-BE COMPASSION-BE JUSTICE-BE KINDNESS!
