OMHG! (Oh, My Heavenly God)

Are we really so out of touch with You and all that we have been blessed with?  Are we really so saturated in hate and fear that we cannot find a way to live in peace with one another?  Are we so self-consumed with the disease of me, myself, and I, that we have no level of compassion and empathy for anyone but ourselves?  Have we lost sight that we were not designed to be hateful and jealous of one another, but to rejoice at the accomplishments and gifts of others?  Have we forgotten that we are all interconnected by “divine design” and that in reality there is but one race, the human race and that we are not healthy or fulfilled when we think that we are better than anyone else in our humanity? 

We need your intervention “Great Spirit” in a big way because we are slipping into a reality that was once only an illusion.  Families are fighting!  Communities are decaying! Countries are lusting after other countries that are causing war and destruction! Our behavior is causing the world to implode on itself!  This is not what you want for us or our planet that you gifted us!  Please help us to find a way to reconcile our differences!  Please help us to find a way to love and care for each other!  Please show us the truth that no ethnicity, no religion, no country and its government, are in any way supreme! 

We need help!  We need guidance! We need grace!  We need love!  We need enlightenment! We need a reality check!  Basically, we need you “Great Sprit”.  We know that you have gifted us “free will and determination”, but like all good parents, you know when enough is enough and when it is time to intervene and get things back on track!
