Ua:
I can’t begin to tell the whole story here but suffice it to say that our ancestors are always impacting our lives, guiding us, nurturing us, to support us in being our authentic divine identity. Ua has such an amazing heart and spirit that is so open and available to God in his life, that he is connected to his purpose without even trying. He loves music and is self-motivated in seeking out his passion from singing to playing the piano. His musical gifts unfold before us every day and it is a joy to watch and support him. This is what we as parents and family are supposed to do for them.
If we ourselves are awake in our life, we see them for who they are and our ancestors, if we are also connected, support us in bringing these gifts to light! Yesterday while we were leaving the pumpkin patch, Ua heard organ music coming from the church next door. He went to the stained- glass window and put his ear to the window so he could hear the music.
Needless to say, our father’s favorite instrument was the pipe organ he brought piece by piece from our church on the east side to have installed in the new church we built. It was one of the grounding chords of our worship experience! Ua asked if he could go in the church to listen to the music. As he sat on the church pew with his eyes closed and listened to the music it was as if he had completely infused his total being into the music and the beauty of the music coming from the organ. When the organist finished, he opened his eyes and told his mother. “I really like the man- introduced to him as Johnathan-When he plays the music God is in the music and he is talking to God. You see Mommie, this is how we can talk to God. When I play my music, I can feel like I am with God in the music!
Our Dad is dancing and singing all over heaven! The work of the ancestors and the angels have been rooted in his soul! Why can’t we be like children? Why can’t we hold on to our pure spirit that leads us to that tangible relationship with God. If only we could, this would not be the world we are creating for our children today! May you never lose that connection to God that you will share with the world through your music,
