“Great Spirit”,

I know you hear all the clamoring about how we can single handedly manifest whatever we desire and that by the “laws of attraction” nothing is impossible in our life.  I will not pass judgement on these practices, but I will confess, that I have in my own life witnessed what is possible in my life when I do it in partnership with you!  I have seen how I can be awakened in a dream with a knowingness about things and people that you want to bring to my conscious mind.  I see how you work out the path for me to discover answers to challenges and questions that might have distracted me from my “work” or “purpose”, so that I misstep on my divine journey and have to reset my intentions and redirect my course of action. 

I have witnessed you listen to my prayers and the desires of my heart and in your time, and in your way, answer those prayers and desires with what you know to be in my best interest and for my higher good. I have learned with your counsel that in this partnership we have, that you have expectations of me to work on relationship and to follow through with what I know you want me to be and what you want me to do.  I know that I must have first of all, faith in our relationship.  I have to learn how to be patient and secure in our relationship, and to not allow myself to slip into a place where I doubt you, or doubt that you have engaged in a committed relationship with me.  I have to be faithful to you, and I have to have faith in you.

Secondly, I have to garner our relationship with gratitude.  You don’t ask much of me in this relationship, but I know that you want me to live my life in gratitude, and you want me to be grateful for what I have, and what I have the potential of being and having.  I don’t ever want to take the blessings in my life and in the lives of the people I love, for granted.  I want to be a Messager of gratitude, and an example of how and why we must live our lives engulfed in gratitude.  I can’t see myself living any other way.  You “Great Spirit” have blessed my life not just in the days filled with light and joy, but in the days that were dark and painful.  I could feel your presence in my life, and it was your love that “Lifted Me”!

Lastly, I recognize that I must do my part in manifesting the gifts you have in store for my life.  I have to be tenacious, determined, consistent, and practice the laws of follow through.  I have to do my part in this relationship of manifestation.  Everything that has the possibility of enhancing the quality of my life, has been provided by you. Why?  You “Great Spirit”, designed the construct of our relationship so that we become a blessing to others.  Our life impacts and is connected in some way to the whole-(humanity).   The things we manifest in our life that brings us joy, fulfillment, and the desires of our heart, refines who “Great Spirit” needs us to be for humanity.  Keeping that in mind, we need to make sure that our relationship with “Great Spirit”, is not one sided.  We have to do our part and it takes us making a daily investment in that relationship.
