Dear Great Spirit,

Hold us ever near to thee so that we are aware of your presence in our life.  We are engulfed in a world that is completely out of control and by what we can surmise, we have very little control over what is going on with the world and humanity. What we do have control over is how we respond to these conditions.  We have to understand that even when things seem like there is no resolve and no peace possible, “Great Spirit” is at work! 

We are never in this turmoil by ourselves.  We have the love and protection of “Great Spirit” covering us from the time we rise in the morning light to the evening moon when we lay our heads down at night.  We thank thee for carrying us safely through our sleep so that we once again rise to meet the sun’s light.  We must be of good heart, and not slip into darkness and despondency. Guide us to being a light that lifts the vibration of world.  We have more work to do and will always have more to do if we are going to have the world, we want to live in. We can do the work!
