War is not their legacy!  Hunger is not their legacy! Homelessness is not their legacy! Abuse and abduction from their families is not their legacy.  Over the past couple of days, I have been bombarded with alerts of missing children and youth, in America!  Of all places-America!  The so called civilized, organized, wealthiest country in the world, and we are not attending to our children!  I can’t stand the feeling of loss and pain I feel every day I get yet in still another alert of a missing child.  Facebook, Instagram, social media is putting up front right in our faces and I don’t hear us crying out for a critical task force to go after and safeguard our children.  I did not sleep last night.  My chest was tight, and I could not take a deep breath.  I feel so frustrated and helpless because the problem with the breakdown of our institutional systems have been overwhelmed and dismantled.  I am praying that when VP Kamala Harris is sworn into oath as the next President of this country, that this will be an issue she will address.  It is a global crisis that all the big entities that are attending to global affairs, need to address.  

Each of us be able to put our heads together and find a way to bring this crisis to the forefront of the political stage that has the power to institute a change in priorities.  These are the issues that the Supreme Court, which is no longer the Supreme Court that our founding fathers formulated.  Politics and foolishness do not belong in the highest court of the land.  We need to be as mad as hell and we need to use our votes to put all these dysfunctional entities- Supreme Court-Congress- on notice.  We sent them there to represent us. This is not a free for all for them to play politics!  This is serious business and if you do not have the right character development that holds the elements of integrity, ethics, morality, justice for all, equity for all, inclusion for all, and basis civility, you need to get out of the position you hold.

I have to write and express myself and look for ways to develop a social media presence to speak my mind and enlighten and inspire others to do the same.  No more holding back waiting for others to respond.  We have to get our children back and we have to nurture them, protect them, and guide them!  That’s a job for not just parents but for society as a whole!
