It is amazing how unexposed and uninformed people can be when it comes to taking the time to discern intelligently what is and is not the truth. Even if we as a society used our common sense, we would not be in the predicament we are in now. We have to buckle down and really go to work on their behalf now!! We have to reach out to members of our community and family and share why we are voting for Harris and Walz. We have to impress upon the urgency and importance of voting Democratic up and down the ballot. We have to be grounded in the policies and principles that formulate their platform so that we can share them with other people in a plain, clear, and relatable way. Don’t complicate the things they stand for so that it confuses them or bores them. Remember, we don’t want to intimidate or offend anyone so that there is a backlash or puts them on the defensive. We don’t want to emulate the behavior of the opposition which stirs up mass chaos and hateful engagement.
We want to be the vibration of peace, compassion, and a willingness to allow people, when civil, to engage in the exchange of ideas and opinions. We have to find a way to communicate with each other so that we can start the process of healing from the divisiveness and intentional lies that they were fed to destroy the making of our “more perfect union”! It is going to be a long and difficult task to unite us to the point where we can be in a civil relationship with one another. It will never be perfect that is unrealistic, but it can be a goal to bring our nation back to the foundation of the principles of our Constitution. One person getting on board at time. We have to find a common ground to support the sustainability of our Democracy and our Constitution, so that in the long run, we are supporting the lives of our citizens.
