I woke up this morning and all that I could feel was this tsunami welding up in my heart of pure unfiltered, uninhibited, unabashed surge of “Joy”. It was an amazing gift to see life through a lense of happiness and beauty. I saw the majesty of our mountains covered with snow that felt like a blanket of comfort and joy. I saw the magnificent enormous energy of the blue, blue ocean waving at me as if to say come and restore the magnetic source of energy that feeds your soul, because I have so much to share and I care. I opened the window of my car on this morning’s journey and felt the warmth of the sun as it integrated itself into the breeze that kissed my cheeks. I venture to say that even the trees that lined the streets as I drove through their canopy, greeted me with acknowledgement that they knew I appreciated what they were giving the universe.
I watched the clouds as they engaged in a dance that mother nature was choreographing as they wisped across the sky. Everything was in sync to ignite and sustain the joy that I am sharing with you today because it is a new day. A new day to start new prospectives on how we chose to live and engage in life. A new day to craft a sacred ritual that helps us align with joy in relationship to all the emotions we experience in our life. A new day to live in a state of being “in the present of our life”. A new day to take stock of all we have to be grateful for and commit to living our lives in a space of gratitude. A new day to reach out and express love for the people we value in our life. A new day to choose to live “in the world’ and not be caught up in being “of the world”.
Let us make a commitment to ourselves that we will seek joy in our life, in the knowing that it is a gift to relish and be engulfed in as much as we can and as often as we can. Let us stride to meet the world from a place of joy instead of pain, because it really does impact the outcome which in turn impacts us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Today, I wish you “Joy”!
P.S. Make sure you do not allow anything, or anyone steal your “Joy”. AS I taught my daughter, Niki, “Don’t let anyone rain on your joy filled parade in life or cast shadows on your sunlight that feeds your soul!
