Thursday Day 4:He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: (Rest)

Oh, my heavens!  This is something that is given to us that we usually fail at taking advantage of!  “Great Spirit” knew that we were going to need time and space to “REST”!  the bodies that house our souls is so intricately designed that it must have rest and care.  This temple that holds the sacred space for our soul is precious in His sight.  We are in the eyes of “Great Spirit” perfection.  We are called to take care of ourselves and to show gratitude for what we have been endowed with.  We can take anything for granted.  We cannot even begin to know how much attention and devotion was put into the divine creation of each of us.  Mankind can try to duplicate this intricate physical body that carries our soul essence, but they will never be able to create our divine identities or our divined soul.  This is why we have to be intentional about taking the “REST” that “Great Spirit” has ordained for each of us. 

In the moments of “REST’, WE are to close down shop.  WE are to be one with our creator.  WE are to turn our brains off and go within to our soul ‘s space.  WE are to just be!  WE have to have time to turn off the world.  WE are to take deep breaths and feel our bodies and visualize a warm and abiding light fill every inch of our being.  WE have to re-fuel ourselves with the beauty and grace of all that is good and whole in the universe.  WE are to see these moments as a ritual of being completely regenerated with the love of “Great Spirit”.  It is a time of completely surrendering to “Great Spirit”.  It is a visitation with our Creator.  It is moments of gratitude.  It is moments of allowing “Great Spirit” to fill our cup so that we have all that we need to navigate this world.  It is moments of being back to the source to nourish those connections that binds our pure and holy relationship with God. 

WE can feel ourselves being held in the heart space of our Creator.  It is amazing how we can be transposed to another space where there is only pure love, pure grace, pure compassion, and a knowingness that “Great Spirit” knows everything about who we are and what we need to fulfill our divine purpose filled life.  There is no other source that knows us and loves us to that magnitude.  Go into the flow of that love and take your “REST” in the arms of the “Divine Eternal Source”.

P.S.  I just want to thank “Great Spirit” for filling my cup and giving me the intention to reach out to humanity to share the thoughts that are laid on my soul.
