Wednesday-Day 17:  And I will dwell in the house of the Lord (Security)

“Dwelling in the house of the Lord”, has for me a two-fold message.  The first house I see is reference to our initial home from which we originated in the consciousness and dreams of our “Creator”.  That sacred space that has no beginning or end but is and does operate on a realm of eternity.  There is no linear time frame, and we come and go with each iteration of what houses our eternal soul and soul essence.  This becomes so evident to you when you work with young children. 

Childhood is an age of development where the essence of their being is so uninhibited and raw.  They see the world and engage in the world from their authentic divined identity.  They are most certainly still connected to the “Source” from which they come.  They are aware and have a sense, and for some children a “memory” of their heavenly home.  Wish I had that memory, but I do have that sense since childhood and I have held on to it.  This “Heavenly Home” holds so much love and compassion for our humanness and sees to it that each of us are provided for according to our divined identity and purpose. 

The second house is our physical body that houses our “soul” when we take on our physical form.  It is a lot of work and intention to care with devotion this body that houses our souls.  It is susceptible to so many negative influences that not only impact our physicality, but also our soul essence.  We have to be responsible for the maintenance and development of our physical bodies and our spiritual evolution.  We and we alone are accountable for our growth and development on this earthly plane. This gift of life that provides both an earthly residence and a heavenly safe haven for us when we transition from this realm to the next. 

What a great sense of security we can live with and travel with from one dimension to the next.  We are so blessed to be gifted this life and the knowledge that there is yet more to come, more to learn, and more of us to give.
