What I admire and respect about the “Faith” of a child is that it is raw, authentic, clear, unfiltered and void of manipulation because it is rooted in their true nature and connected to the “Source” from which they come. As in the words of Carolyn Haywood, “Children are not only innocent and curious but also optimistic and joyful and essentially happy. They are, in short, everything adults wish they could be.” They have not been tainted in their natural state of being are not embarrassed or ashamed of the things or people they have faith in. They are tenacious in their commitment to being steadfast in their “Faith”. Children, unlike adults, do not have to work at executing their “Faith” and being “Faithful”. Once they believe in something or someone, they hold fast to that belief until adults or circumstances that adults cultivate to dismantle their belief or “Faith” in something, steps into their sacred world and disrupts their childhood innocence.
If we tap into our inner child that resides within each of us, even if buried deep within our soul essence, we will discover our “Truth” which is our ability to trust in our discernment and make the right choices of what to and who to have “Faith” in. “Mature faith rediscovers the wisdom of the child but is deepened by the valleys we’ve walked through” that can be seen as opportunities to grow in our ability to be a person of “Faith” or “Faithful” as a characteristic of our character. As an adult even though it can be difficult at times to hold on to our “Faith”, like faith in a knowingness that this era of turmoil and chaos we are experiencing globally, will pass from us and will do so with the intervention of “Great Spirit”, and our ancestors.
Having “Faith” in this knowingness has an effect on our whole being. I believe it has the potential of lifting our spirit that in return supports our physicality, emotional well-being, and spiritual energetic viability. We need the powerful imprint faith and faithfulness can have on our life experiences. It is so challenging to be “Faithful” to anyone or anything in today’s world, but if we but put our faith in the attributes of what “Great Spirit” has given us to follow and trust, our “Faith” is continually deepening and expanding where we will find peace that surpasses all understanding and everything will be in divine right order. I want to share with you that it is vital that you have “Faith” in knowing that the world is “Birthing a new reality that will encompass love, joy, peace, compassion, and justice”. Hold on to your “Faith”, it works!
