If ever there was a time that we are being called to stand firm in our “Faith”, as well as being “Faithful to our beliefs in the “Intervention of Great Spirit”, it is now. We have the ability as a collective humanity, to bring into manifestation a “New World Order”. We are being asked to establish a world that is focused and grounded in a humane and just humanity. We are being instructed to ignite our ability to be faithful to the principles that require compassion, unconditional love, justice, equality, and a sustainable life supported with the sharing of earth’s resources.
I don’t see how we will be able to navigate the conditions of our political systems in a healthy and life-giving vibration, without “Faith” which requires not just a belief in words but a “Faith” that is null and void without deeds that physically demonstrate the power and validity of our “Faith”. I realize that our potential as a righteous humanity must be grounded in a relationship with “Great Spirit” that is our breath of life. I see “Fatih” having a sacred space in so many of our religious beliefs that for me shows our human understanding has a common thread that could bind us into a closer and more collaborative relationship. Faith grows in depth, relevance, and power when it becomes a practice, a way of living our lives.
If I were to try to find threads of understanding and connection between such religious expressions as Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism, those threads might be-Trusting God’s promises and aligning with Christ’s principles of “Radical Love”; In the Islamic faith it would be that “Faith” is surrendering to God’s will; and in Buddhism it would be “Faith” being a commitment to walk the path to enlightenment – not just for self, but for all beings. These elements of “Faith”, trust, alignment, surrendering to “Great Spirit” and commitment of seeking enlightenment, would be the “Agents of Change” that could be the saving grace of our humanity. Even the art of “looking for common ground” is “Faith in Action”.
