Our Prayer for Calm:
“Great Spirit, -As I go within to that place of calm, my spirit is renewed, my soul is nourished, my physical body is cleansed, my mind is freed, and my emotions are taken to a place of light and joy. We have a responsibility to ourselves and for ourselves to make sure we balance our life with times when we retire to moments of being “calm”, especially to counteract the stress of our everyday routine. The calming of our “Spirit” has to be initiated from within.
We have to be committed and intentional about allowing ourselves to step away from everything and everyone and re-capture our sense of calm. There is a wonderful secret about being “calm”, and that is that it a moment of actually being in control of our mind, body, and spirit. So, promise yourself to bathe in the beauty and grace of the “calm”! Being able to retreat and access spaces and times of calmness is vital to our well-being especially in the world that we are navigating now.
Find the space in which you can center your being and come back to yourself! Find the modalities that help to bring you calmness and peace. Every breath we take is a physical and spiritual connection with you “Great Spirit”. Help us to value the sanctity of caring for all of who we are. I am praying this morning that you shower us with your gentle touch that validates our faith that we can be “Calm” because your ultimately have everything in “HAND”.
Our Mantra Prayer for Today: “Calm”
When I need to feel calm, I take a deep breath and breathe in and out so that I breathe in light and joy, and exhale fear and anxiety. I control what I respond to and how I respond to people and things in my sacred space of being.
