I have as a responsible and sensitive adult, used my endowment of discernment to pick and choose how I want to engage with the technology of AI. I am very concerned about the lack of intentional responsibility that has not been ingrained into this technology of AI, that secured guardrails and protection for our children and youth. WE know better! This is now having to be a hindsight response instead of a proactive response, which is not uncommon when it comes to our love and care for children. I cannot single handedly change the world and it’s lack of spiritual morals, but I will not just sit by and bury my gifts to speak out and call out in my writing what I feel is threatening the life and welfare of our children.
Over the next couple of weeks, I will be writing a sequel to my book- “The Global Covenant to Protect the Sacred Lives of Children”, specifically addressing this issue of children and AI. Our children have to be literate in technology to meet the ever changing and swiftly evolving world that we have thrown at them. Ai can open a world of knowledge to them, but what that should consist of and how they access the content of that knowledge needs to be addressed YESTERDAY!!!
WE cannot control the entire world and all of the complexities of humanity, but we can do our part as individuals and as a collective consciousness to put into place thoughtful, intelligent, and realistic guardrails of protection for our children. This assignment I am taking on will be multi-faceted and require a lot of prayer, reflection, research, and commitment. Pray for me and with me!
P.S. I really think my grandchildren had a conversation about this topic and asked for intervention on behalf of children. “Great Spirit” always answers their prayers.
