This is going to be short and to the point!  Today as I was talking to my daughter it struck me so profoundly that one of the serious voids in our humanity is our being tender with one another.  It is such an amazing feeling to give and receive in our human condition, especially when navigating this world that has no space, intention, or willingness to be available and vulnerable to anyone that does not exist in in our constructed world of “ME. Myself, and I” universe.  We have closed ourselves off from one another and gone into a self-imposed bubble of protection that allows us to be distant and aloof from one another.  No one wants to feel a sense of accountability or responsibility for anyone but themselves.  We are living in a vacuum that we think is a shield of protection, but in reality, it is not only penetrable, it is not sustainable. 

We cannot live without each other’s care and tenderness.  Who we are as beings we have specific elements in our design and creation that calls for us to be in relationship.  Try as we do to be solely independent and self-sufficient, we are going against the grain of who we were designed to be, so sooner or later we come to our senses.  The bottom line is that we need each other.  We need each other physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually.  I am praying that we find each other and fill the void that is dismantling our ability to give each other “Just a little tenderness”!
