I’m Just Sayin- Notes from Beth #30- The Transitioning of Queen Elizabeth II- A Life of Service, A Life of Family, A Legacy of Tenacity, Wisdom, Intelligence and Grace!

There is no way in the world that I could not write about the transitioning of Queen Elizabeth II.  She was for me a Queen of beauty, grace, dignity, and rose to the grave and arduous task of becoming the Queen of England and “The Commonwealth”, as a very young and inexperienced royalty.  She had no choice to refuse this responsibility!  She did not ask for this position!  Obviously, this reign was designed in her “Divine Destiny”, this was to be her “work”.  This was to be a life of “purpose”. She upheld her commitment to her family, her country, and the subjects around the world that looked to her for wisdom, compassion, and justice.

She has moved through so many world events that have shaken the core of humanity.  She has seen so much that has changed the fabric of humanity.  She has grown in so many areas of her life, that impacted her choices and decisions in challenges that she faced on a personal and political level.

I have the greatest respect and admiration for her.  Coming from a family that’s heritage was steeped in British influence I was taught about the full history of the British Empire- the good, the  bad, and the ugly!  I was taught that there is no perfection in the human design so that judgment never resolves our differences, perspective, or our actions-just or unjust.  We will be reckoned with by entities beyond our conception or understanding of-Karma.

I grew up loving, respecting, and honoring the legacy of Queen Elizabeth II as a child from watching my grandmother! She had a picture of her in her bedroom and would tell me about her life. I always took pride in my name and as a child would tell people I was named for her! No one is perfect and we learn to deal with our divine journey that marks our path on that course. I was always tickled at how much my grandmother looked like her!

The elegance, the wisdom, tenacity, and intelligence to be the Queen of a country for over 70 years is truthfully a life driven by purpose! I don’t know how things will unfold in the monarchy now because I really don’t have that much affection or respect for Phillip, but only time will tell! Goodbye my Queen! May the angels that surround you now take you gently home to your Heavenly Father. I know He will greet you with- “Well done thy good and faithful servant”!

This is my Nana Marie who taught me to love and respect Queen Elizabeth II, how to prepare and drink “Tea” with only the best of English Bone China , silver spoon, and linen napkins. Having tea with my Nana was one of my favorite things to do.  When I go to England I can’t leave until I have gone to at least one “High Tea”.
