“Great Spirit”, creator of all that gives us life,

Help us to surrender to thee, instead of living lives of turmoil and strife.

You know not only the desires of our heart, but you know what can bring us peace, love, and joy

You don’t ask much of us, only to trust,

That you are the constant in our lives.

You know what we need might not be what we want,

Yet you give us the space to think out of the box.

Sometimes we forget, from whence we come,

and we lose sight of who we were designed to be.

But you never let us go beyond the divinity of our being, when we come to you as your children, humble, honest, and faithful to thee.

Lead us, guide us, engulf us in your love,

For without you “Great Spirit” we falter and fall.

Ashe! Ashe! Ashe!
