This organization was formerly the Cripple Children’s Society, and our Mom Dolly fund raised for the organization for years to support their commitment to children with physical challenges. The first tea she had was held at Nate King Cole’s home in Hancock Park.  He heard about what she was doing and opened his home to her to support her endeavor.

Democratic National Committee– he was a lifetime political advocate and voted in every election from the age of 18 to 75. He even attended the National Democratic Convention for the nomination of President Barack Obama, who he had the distinction of meeting on more than one occasion.  The Times Newspaper even wrote an article about his support for President Obama’s nomination and election.  Lloyd loved politics and followed all the world affairs with his keen intellect. And yes, Lloyd voted for Kamala Harris!

Lloyd was a graduate of Whitney High School, took college courses at El Camino, was the proud owner of Mr. B’s Box for over 45 years, and traveled extensively to countries like Russia and China.

If you want to leave Mr. B. A love note, please post it in the comment section and we will add it to the family’s memory book!
