Dearest “Great Spirit”,

We come to you in be wonderment about something that is troubling us.  It is about our challenge to extend “kindness to one another”.  It seems that we have lost sight of how and when to be kind to each other.  We seem to forget at times that people other than ourselves need to be treated with tenderness and kindness.  We get so wrapped up in our own life that we are insensitive to the fact that at some point in our life experience we too will need to be “cared for” and shown gifts of kindness.  When I look at comments on social media it astounds me as to how people engage in conversations where they are saying the most grigios and hurtful things to each other and about people they don’t even know.  I see so much judgment and criticism.  I have tried of course to address these comments when I read them, but it seems that trying to share how being unkind and hurtful to people, is not in their best interest. 

Our words and our deeds that we inflict on other people are not in our best interest.  It sets a tone in our soul expression that makes us lose bits and pieces of the beauty of our divine essence.  I know this is a challenge for us to be consistent with approaching people and life with kindness, but oh what a different life experience it is when we carry kindness in our heart and are cognizant of what it means to others to be approached with consideration and kindness. 

How can we ignite this energy in ourselves and others to have a desire to kind and loving to others?  Touch our hearts “Great Spirit”!  Infuse your abiding love in us that will support us in staying the course of being our highest most loving and caring self!  Fill us with unlimited ability to be and do the wonderful things you designed us to do and be.  Love and kindness beget love and kindness!  And after all “love” is the thread that weaves and binds the fabric of our lives.
