Women of Compassionate Spirits. A Global “Call to Action”! # 4 “Peace Be Still”

The Sacred Space for Transformative Agreements

Morning my friends,

Well needless to say this was an eventful week in our global world.  Good things are happening, and at the same time things are happening that need to be addressed by all of us as global citizens.  I believe that “charity begins at home and before I can advise and intercede in other countries affairs, I must find a way to use my talents and gifts to participate in solving the circumstances that are plaguing my homeland.  At the same time, I am sensitive to and cognizant of the fact that we are a global society that is interdependent in terms of the sustainability of our planet and humanity.   All that being said, at the same time, it is important for us to do “care for self”.

We are by our very nature as women, nurturers and protectors.  It seems to me that for so many of us, we step into a position of feely guilty if we indulge in taking out time to do things for ourselves.  For some of us it is a “hit and miss” time that we take out time to pamper ourselves and use the excuse that we have to do this or that because we have a social obligation and even worse, we start taking are of ourselves because we have a health issue. When we allow ourselves to operate in the “hit and miss” time, or “I have to do this for myself because…”, we are only not doing ourselves a favor, we are showing others that we don’t love and respect ourselves.  Plus, if we don’t take care of ourselves, we will not have the wherewithal to support the lives of those we love and respect in turn.

What is the foundation of being able to care for ourselves in this chaotic, upside down, inside out, world that each of us is navigating is to first of all identify what brings us to a state of “Peace”.  When we identify our peace and prioritize it in our soul expression, we are supported in sustaining it without judgment or guilt.  When we walk through life in “Peace”, we give others the desire to find their own personal peace.

When we hold that sense of peace in our soul expression, what is happening to us or around us can be dealt with in a healthy wholistic way that brings resolve and grounding.  Peace can be the antidot that quiets our anxiety and inability to pull back and observe before reacting to situations.  Find your peace my friends!  You deserve peace and opportunities to “Care for yourself”.  Be still in your peace my friends and observe how things look and feel differently when you come at the world in the “Power of your Peace”!

Ashe!  Ashe!
