For our candidates and our platform as Democrats this is a continuation of our struggle and fight to have a health care system in our nation that accessible and comprehensive so that it meets the needs of all our citizens no matter what their circumstance of life is.  We are too significant and prominent and a country in this world to be so far behind other countries in terms of health care, that includes all aspects of what it takes to have a healthy life free from fear of not being able to afford or access the care you need.  I have watched families struggle and even avoid seeking medical care because they don’t think they can afford to go to the doctor. 

We need to be a country whose medical system is framed around being proactive instead of reactive.  We need to ensure that we have a healthy functioning society that is cared for and is healthy in all aspects of their wellbeing from physical to mental-emotional health.  We cannot function as a stable functioning country if our citizens are not healthy.  ‘This needs to be a priority, and our candidates not only understand that but are willing to fight for it.  We must support them in this fight because this is one of the problems that are feeding the political divide in our country.  We need to be bold with our support.  We need to be on the frontlines in showing our support for the principles and policies that will move our country in the right direction.

Para nuestros candidatos y nuestra plataforma como demócratas, esta es una continuación de nuestra lucha y lucha para tener un sistema de atención médica en nuestra nación que sea accesible e integral para que satisfaga las necesidades de todos nuestros ciudadanos sin importar cuáles sean sus circunstancias de vida.  Somos demasiado importantes y prominentes y un país en este mundo para estar tan atrasados con respecto a otros países en términos de atención médica, que incluye todos los aspectos de lo que se necesita para tener una vida saludable sin temor a no poder pagar o acceder a la atención que necesita.  He visto a familias luchar e incluso evitar buscar atención médica porque creen que no pueden permitirse ir al médico.

Tenemos que ser un país cuyo sistema médico se enmarque en ser proactivo en lugar de reactivo.  Tenemos que asegurarnos de que tenemos una sociedad que funcione sana, que sea cuidada y saludable en todos los aspectos de su bienestar, desde la salud física hasta la mental y emocional.  No podemos funcionar como un país estable y funcional si nuestros ciudadanos no están sanos.  “Esto tiene que ser una prioridad, y nuestros candidatos no solo lo entienden, sino que están dispuestos a luchar por ello.  Debemos apoyarlos en esta lucha porque este es uno de los problemas que están alimentando la división política en nuestro país.  Tenemos que ser audaces con nuestro apoyo.  Tenemos que estar en primera línea para mostrar nuestro apoyo a los principios y políticas que llevarán a nuestro país en la dirección correcta.
